Just make it a month. Everybody shops according to the first letter of their last name. Easy!

Good Economy = “Environmental Impact” to our betters.
They’ve already got theirs.
Screw the rest of us.

Socialists have a great solution for overconsumption: acute and continuous shortages. The government decides how much in consumer goods are needed with a wildly incompetent and unrealistic goal, then it falls short of the goal by 40-60%. Problem solved.

So the US is able to induce Black Friday shopping in a country without a Thanksgiving holiday? That is remarkable.

Idk, maybe not so remarkable. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

They want to ban a
day?
They'll have two Thursdays and then straight into Saturday?
I guess that's better than two Mondays...I would opt for two Saturdays, personally...

The old Soviet Union never had a problem with Black Friday nor any other shopping date(s)LOL, there was nothing in the shops to buy, anyway. People would see a line, and just get in line without even knowing what they were in line for.

Borne wasn’t born too smart, was she? Labor protests which clog roads and highways also contribute a lot to pollution but does she want to ban them? Hell no. the Communist unions would have her tits on a stick if she tried to.
In France, hypocrisy is down to a real art form.
To: grundle
simple solution: once Black Friday is banned, just invent Big Friday on the same day ...
