Vox.com noted last week:
Theres no completely objective way to measure legal ability, but a common metric used by legal employers to identify the most gifted lawyers is whether those lawyers secured a federal clerkship, including the most prestigious clerkships at the Supreme Court. Approximately 40 percent of Trumps appellate nominees clerked for a Supreme Court justice, and about 80 percent clerked on a federal court of appeals. That compares to less than a quarter of Obamas nominees who clerked on the Supreme Court, and less than half with a federal appellate clerkship.
In other words, based solely on objective legal credentials, the average Trump appointee has a far more impressive résumé than any past presidents nominees.
And theyre young, too. The average age of circuit judges appointed by President Trump is less than 50 years old, the Trump White House bragged in early November, a full 10 years younger than the average age of President Obamas circuit nominees.

Ooh I bet it hurt them at Vox to publish that.
Not to mention the two moron’s he actually appointed to the Supreme Court.
Trump’s judges are waaaaaaaay more likely to follow the Constitution instead of making something up.
Second most important accomplishment - getting smart conservative judge in the courts. First - corp. tax cut; third - restoring respect around the world (fear in our enemies is part) and 4 - exposing the media and loony progressives.
Since most of obamas judges were likely selected because of their skin color as the primary qualification . . . .
That’s because to get those clerkships, you have to be super smart. Like very top of the class of a very prestigious school that is already packed with super smart law students. Obama sought judges who were reliably doctrinaire leftists who would do what the socialists wanted with every decision. Trump seeks the smartest people available who are also dedicated to the Constitution and the law.
What are the chances that O’Bastard’s Lesbian twins he appointed could give eachother AIDS in the next 5 years?
Trump’s prerequisites for judicial appointment include legal expertise, high intellect, an impeccable record on the bench and membership in the Federalist Society.
Obama’s prerequisites were experience as a community organizer and disdain for the constitution and founding fathers.
Corporate tax cuts are tertiary at best.
Republicans could have had them easily in 2008 and 2012 but they broke apart their coalition and threw a monkey wrench into their electoral viability.
I understand one of them has serious health issues. I expect Thomas will retire during Trumps next term, then, there is the cadaver. So thats two, maybe three new, YOUNG, conservative justices.
If you enjoy a little schadenfreude, the VOX article is worth a few minutes to read. Though he used just about every belittling insult he could think of against Trump and conservatives, I suspect the author cried the entire time it took him to write this piece that basically says "they're winning and it's not fair"!

IOW, racism and sexism!!! /s
LOL!
It is worth reading.
Not very balanced, but the bitterness is enjoyable.
Justice Sotomayor, the wise latina, has type 1 diabetes. She is 65, and women with type 1 diabetes have an average life span of 68 years according to a recent study. Considering the quality of health care she receives, she may well live a long life. Consider RBG is a 3 time cancer survivor, including at least 1 with an extremely high mortality rate. With diabetes, I believe it will have a lot to do with her adherence to a healthy lifestyle. I don't wish her death or ill health, just an early retirement...
Obama’s were all leftist hacks.
