Biden Just Lost the Election
Townhall.com ^ | December 22, 2019 | Wayne Allyn Root

First of all, let me go on record as saying I've never thought Joe Biden would win the Democratic presidential nomination. Biden is this election's Rudy Giuliani. Rudy was the big name in the 2008 GOP primary. Everyone thought he was unbeatable. He never won a single state and quickly dropped out of the race.

I've argued for many months that Biden will go nowhere in this Democratic primary. First and foremost, Democrats don't want a straight old white male.

Then there's Biden's mind. It's clearly not functioning at top speed anymore. Biden is not just old but slow and foggy. He could never be the president. Time has passed him by.

And then there's Ukraine. Forget President Donald Trump. It's Biden's political career that was destroyed by this Ukraine story. Americans know something smells rotten about the Bidens in Ukraine. Even if it's not criminal, it's certainly dirty. That disqualifies Biden.

The problem is Democrats have no other candidate. So Biden, for better or for worse, remains the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination.

But in Thursday's debate, he committed a major sin. He alienated his base -- the only group in the party that still backs him. In speaking of economic growth, the moderator asked, "As president, would you be willing to sacrifice some of that growth, even knowing potentially that it could displace thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands, of blue-collar workers, in the interest of transitioning to that greener economy?'"

Biden answered quickly and boldly: "The answer is yes."

End of story. There's your Trump TV advertisement. Even if Biden somehow still wins the nomination, Trump will destroy him with working-class and middle-class voters.

The follow-up in a debate between Trump and Biden would be equally powerful. Biden would claim that those workers would all find new jobs in the "green economy."

Trump would answer: "Really? Like Solyndra? Like many green companies that received billions of taxpayer dollars under Obama-Biden? They're out of business. Billions lost forever on a pipe dream. A liberal fantasy. Good luck. I'll stick with oil and gas jobs. The average one pays $150,000 a year. Anyone want to give up your job for Joe's nonexistent green jobs? You want to take that chance, vote for Joe. I dare you."

The only hope Biden had was to gain the support of white working- and middle-class voters in places such as Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Michigan and Wisconsin. Now they're gone -- forever. Middle-class workers will never gamble their jobs on Biden's green jobs -- not unless they also like cold toilet seats, warm beer and broccoli as the main course for dinner.

Trust me, the Democratic Party's presidential candidates -- even supposedly moderate Joe Biden -- are now officially poison to working- and middle-class America. It's not even close. It's Trump by a mile.

By the way, here's a quick snapshot of the electorate before Biden's deadly words. One of my friends runs a Las Vegas construction company. He loves Trump. His annual revenues are up from $17 million to $65 million under Trump. He says every single construction worker he meets -- steelworkers, plumbers, electricians, machinists -- all support Trump. These are union guys. That was before Biden's words on Thursday.

My advice to Democrats: Order your depression pills. Get your minds prepared for five more years of Trump. The deal is done.

Trump should be so fortunate as to have Biden as the Dem nominee.

Unfortunately, ain’t happenin’. He’s in the race to try to protect his (and his family’s backside), as a necessary prop to Trump somehow having tried to bribe Ukraine for dirt on a political “opponent”. Critically, of course, Biden has to be in the primary to qualify as any sort of political opponent.

RE: # 14: you will notice that BM is NOT running, and she will not be running until she is nominated. Then the soviet media will take over, as they did for Crooked Hillary, and make sure BM does not have to do anything strenuous.

And everyone will understand that she is just a front for Valerie to run our country again.

Biden is a terrible candidate with a ton of baggage. But he is the best they have.

For those of you who are fans of "The Sopranos": Joe Biden is the Democrat's version of Junior Soprano. If the DNC is able to drag him across the finish line, and he somehow wins the presidency, they will allow him to think that he's in charge, and he's running things. In reality, Biden would be nothing more than a figurehead, a "lightening rod" to take the hits while the deep state remains in the background calling all of the shots.

"when Mooshell enters with her , person of color rescue, and declares she can solve things. I also predict, with dueling, “ we have dirt on you”, Clinton will be her VP candidate. Yep, I believe Soros will have convinced her that’s all she gets."

It's too much work for the Wookie to run. And Hillary would never run for VP unless she was convinced her running mate was going to commit suicide after the election.

Don’t laugh it’s true. A two year degree from a Petro program can get you a job starting at $120,000/year

The oil patch pays very well when prices are high...lotsa layoffs when prices drop below $60.00 a barrel.

That assessment does not work on any level.
The Mooch stomped away from the American flag, openly disgusted by the American people and the flag that represents them.

That is a thing that will not go away unless Americans let it go away.

It is entirely analogous to Elisabeth Warren’s fraudulent Indian problem.

It hasn’t gone away because people who loathe her mocked her for what she did. Her followers are mocked for what she did and their support of ripping off college slots from actual tribal members. And even political opponents who want to talk about policy issues get mocked for trying to give her a pass on the Cherokee princess thing because the Indian thing will sink her and not every voter even understands the policy issues even if they try to care.

With Mooch it is the same and people who try to shift the focus away from Michelle’s very open loathing of Americans will (like her followers) be openly and unrelentingly mocked for perhaps sympathizing with the Wookie’s position since they are trying to ignore it.

That is fair.

So Moochelle will go down the same way Psychojawea has gone down. She can’t get out from under her past and if the Democrat party nominates someone at the convention who didn’t even compete in the primaries, then Bernie’s faction is going to run their own candidate.

Mochelle’s political future died a hard death during her husband’s presidency.

This reminds me of how Al Gore pushed gun control. I’m sure it cost him PA.

This is worse. Everyone remembers how Obama/Hillary threw the coal miners of WVa under the bus.

A lot of those real high paying jobs are in remote areas such as the Permian Basin. A good pipeline welder with his own rig can make three times that.

The GOP has been the greatest con going....

They did nothing for the working people or anyone else..

Trump has exposed the GOP....

Look at the first two years....they did nothing with both the house and senate

Well the tax bill was one thing

Trump has the economy going by deregulation...

And pro business talk and action....

The GOP hated Reagan also...

Reagan’s biggest mistake George Bush..

The GOP would love to convict Trump but the democrats have nothing...

The senate could be investigating. A lot of thing but are they NO

If Trump wins in 2020 he needs to change the name of the GOP

With benefits and OT, would not surprise me at all.

Most of the experienced oil refinery operators are well into the $100k+ earning range. They’ve got nice homes and nice vehicles, and children getting college education. I once knew a board operator with a $2M retirement nest egg accumulated. His goal was $5M.

No clinton and no obama will ever run for office ever again.

As more and more comes out about their spying conspiracy they will disappear from public life.

.Obama didn’t really have anything of substance either. When most democrats are riding in the short bus they are unwilling to throw anyone under it.

Plus, her gigantic a** will keep her from ‘running’!

Plus, it hurts her balls when she runs.

Mooshell enters with her , person of color rescue, and declares she can solve things///

Moochell isn’t a politician. Hell Hitlery wasn’t a real politician, like Bill, and it showed in her demeanor. Mooch is exactly the same. They’d have to script and preplan everything she says, but then there are the times they can’t. She’d be a disaster as a candidate. Yeah she’d get the black female vote who aren’t breaking for Trump anyway like black males are. Sure bring her on.

I remember my dad working with my brother, on my brothers stutter. My brother overcame it in just a few weeks.

I think the stutter comes from thinking ahead, nervous, doubt, too fast. The mind is in a race, gets way past the words and doubles back. A train wreck. My dad had him practice, slowing down, relaxing, and pausing. The stutter was gone in a week and never came back.

I guess he was just lucky, the right cure for him came so early.

I say this respectfully: you are being too logical. As a matter of fact, I said that the BM Narrative of bringing civility and peace to a divided America will be false and ridiculous.

But false and ridiculous have never stopped the leftists/communists, nor will it stop many, many millions of Americans from voting for the “beautiful” black “woman” who is trying to heal our country after the Bad Mean Man divided us.

And gone away will be all the strident leftist policy positions, and all the personal baggage like fake Indianship, corrupt Ukraine, etc etc.

Instead we are going to face a daily Narrative which makes the election all about “meaness” versus “civility.” Poof! All the negatives magically disappear!

And when you and I are pointing out how false and absurd that is, the corollary Narrative will be how very, very sad that such “haters” as us exist.

One of my nephews is training to be an oil rig engineer. He picked the profession because it pays so much. Smart kid, he was on schedule to graduate in just three years.
