I wonder how much of this is going on with other countries we don’t even know about? Maybe less popular Congress people get with countries where the stakes are not as high. If the American people were really paying attention I believe this corruption could tear the country apart. We are giving foreign aid to countries and then a large portion is returned to the people who authorized it.

Not to be argumentative, but I think China is just flat out bribing them with China’s own money (which they get from us, of course, but in a different way). The poorer countries are involved in the foreign aid scam.

I’ve noticed a fair number of municipal and county elected officials (and employees) in prog-controlled venues have been indicted recently for embezzlement and fraud involving tax monies. It’s a good bet they observed how the VIPs operated and decided to copy the MO for themselves, without the same high level of cover.
The system has rotted to the tail.
I never have either.
