FISC: FBI Lawyer Who Altered Carter Page Warrant Must Be Reported To Bar. Court Reviewing All Warrant Applications

Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court presiding Judge Rosemary Collyer released a public order Friday, demanding to see all the applications handled by the FBI attorney, who is alleged to have changed the details in the FISA application on Carter Page. In the two-page Dec. 5, order Collyer also requested that the bureau advise the court if FBI Attorney Kevin Clinesmith, who was involved in altering Page’s application has been reported to the appropriate bar association for disciplinary action.

Page, who was a short term campaign volunteer for President Donald Trump, was wiretapped by the FBI. The bureau was given approval by the secret court to spy on Page based on the information it provided in the application to obtain the warrant from the court. Earlier this week Collyer released her public order giving FBI officials a Jan. 10 deadline to address how to remedy the extraordinary malfeasance that led to the FBI’s baseless warrant to spy on Page. That was the first time the court has spoken since the Department of Justice Inspector General released its findings on the FBI’s now debunked investigation into the Trump campaign and Russia.

“The BAR will do nothing.
The BAR NEVER does anything except protect the wrongdoers.”

This is absolutely true. They MIGHT do something if the attorney murders someone or runs a prostitution gig out of their office and involves a client (Chicago).

She’s only resigning as managing justice. She’s going to remain as a judge of the fisa court.

Yes, it’s quit odd. Resigning for “health reasons” but staying on to March as I understand it. The health stuff is obvious cover. She doesn’t want to answer any questions from the DOJ or Congress.

While I’ve had search warrants signed by a judge without a hearing, you’d think something as important as securing a wiretap order on a Presidential campaign would require more than just an informal visit to a judge in chambers.

I wonder if it was done this way to circumvent having a court reporter present to take a transcript of the proceeding? Without a record it becomes “he said-she said”.

Now you are over the target. It’s been clear for years that the FISC judges were active participants in the coup.

I caught that segment of Rush’s show last week, and it was truly amazing, and scary.
My prayer is that Durham and Barr have uncovered a carefully-built tunnel which has allowed MANY enemies to freely enter into our government and, like a hard to detect cancer, undermine—literally—our free Republic!
Hence, they have to be VERY careful to not trigger any of these dangerous and well-hidden “cells” until they are ALL carefully—and SLOWLY—exposed and destroyed!

Nope. If screwed, would have been reported for prosecution, not disbarment, well before now.

I'm not being merely wishful. Barr only got declassification authority last May. Probably took a few months just to round up the relevant documents, then he could start interviewing people.

There's no particular urgency IMO. Sure I would love to see it solved sooner. But we have time for a few plea deals before November. Charges and trials would take longer but I expect we will see deals because the deep state perps knew what they were doing and knew how to hide the trails.

Absolutely somebody told him to do this. Who ordered him to do it?

I suspect he will not live long enough to talk, especially if he knows anything about real higher ups.

If she who cannot be named is involved, he won’t live to testify.

As most know Page sued the DOJ, etc over the FISA asking for 75 million dollars. I hope he wins and collects every penny. But I do not want the government, which are the tax payers to pay the money. No I will be demanding that those who did this broke the law so they should pay! Take every penny they have to satisfy the judgement. Financial ruin seems to be the only justice we will ever see in this matter. There must be a law where those working for the government cannot be shielded by the government for their criminal actions.

Guess we also need to demand that the DOJ does not provide government lawyers for these individuals. I understand that the DOJ will defend their agency, but we need to work on the representation of the individuals.
