Wikipedia Blacklists Epoch Times, Gateway Pundit for Russiagate Criticism

Epoch Times and conservative outlet the Gateway Pundit have been banned from use as reliable sources on Wikipedia in the latest cases of news outlets that support President Trump being banned from the online encyclopedia. The Epoch Times ban proposal cited NBC’s hit piece on the site over its coverage of improprieties in the Russia investigation, commonly called Spygate, which prompted smear efforts against the outlet on Wikipedia. Gateway Pundit was proposed for a ban shortly after Epoch Times.

I look at it for non-political info, but anything that has a slight connection to politics/history I ignore given the unreliability of this info at Wiki.

I subscribe to Epoch Times. They’re great.

I read Gateway pundit frequently, several times a week.

I use Wikipedia for non-political information. Their bias was known when they started removing anti-Clinton information in the early 2000s.

I watch the Epoch Times YouTube videos every night. The attractive English blonde does a good job reading Brian Cates’ excellent column.

What WP defines as a reliable unbiased source is the likes of WaPo and the NYT, which impugns it as being an a reliable unbiased source. Which it is not. There is a cadre of controlling editors which can censor what they do not like via their interpretation of a myriad of WP policies.

Why?

Because the party line on the matters that Trump brought up in the phone call with the leader of Ukraine is that those matters are no more than “conspiracy theories”.

Meanwhile the real conspiracy theory that Trump colluded with Russia suffers no such fate from the online media owners.

The party line contained a fatal unrecognized flaw. It was assumed there was no evidence to prove the biden/Obama corruption. That was true in the USA. It failed to consider that the evidence and therefore the proof was present in massive volumes in Ukraine.

Rudy, the Presidents envoy to Ukraine, is loading up 40 foot containers with the evidence to be secretly brought home for revelation.

Wikipedia is a useful source of information on topics that are far from politics, and not particularly subject to bias. It would be a shame if it went under, but they are digging its grave when they do stuff like this.
