Pelosi downplayed the latest crisis on Capitol Hill where a bicameral brawl broke out of the president's impeachment trial in the Senate after the speaker did not formally transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate.
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said Thursday they are at an impasse over the procedures for Trump's trial while the president demanded immediate action and claimed Pelosi hasn't sent the articles because she fears Republicans will call witnesses who will damage the Democrats' case.
'Oh pfft,' Pelosi told Politico when asked if she was 'too afraid' to send the articles.
'Fear is never a word used with me. You should know right away,' she said. 'I'm never afraid and I'm rarely surprised.'

Don’t we have any good investigative journalists in this country any more that can get into her life and bring to light everything she’s had her fingers in in SF? Treasure Island, the Presidio, her winery, the illegals who work at the winery, the alleged corrupt brother, husband and son... We need Sharyl Attkisson and Michele Malkin working full time to bring everything into the light of day. Nancy loves the “disinfectant” of the sun so let’s make sure her dealings see plenty of it.

Pelosi managed to make a what was a Historical event into something about as significant as DC parking ticket. No small feat.
Clinton was impeached and wasn’t removed from office, though he was found guilty. Trump isn’t guilty and certainly hasn’t been found guilty by the Senate.

I believe it is a legal impeachment- BUT a false impeachment at that- People are putting too much emphasis on the actual impeachment because impeachments are or rather should be worthless without a senate conviction- anyone can be accused of anything- and when you don’t get bipartisan support for an impeachment, that just proves that there wasn’t a case to be made to actually truly impeach someone- only when an impeachment is solidified by a senate trial and conviction should an impeachment carry any actual weight- but the fact is, he was legally impeached technically- even though the impeachment didn’t follow any established guidelines, and was a travesty of justice seeings how it was entirely partisan-

If the charges are falsified and rules were not followed, it is NOT a legal impeachment. It was an exercise.

You are Exactly right- that was my take a few days ago- you can bet she will also be tyign Trump up in courts IF he gets a chance to appoint 1-2 or more new SC judges- claiming that an impeached president can’t be allowed to appoint judges because he is ‘apt to appoint biased corrupt judges that will sympathize with him’ or some such idiotic nonsense
