Pelosi: 'I'm never afraid and I'm rarely surprised'
Lawmakers leave for their holiday recess on Friday with no clear way out of the logjam over how to set parameters for Trump's Senate trial
Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer said they are at an impasse
Pelosi downplayed the latest crisis on Capitol Hill where a bicameral brawl broke out of the president's impeachment trial in the Senate after the speaker did not formally transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate.
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer said Thursday they are at an impasse over the procedures for Trump's trial while the president demanded immediate action and claimed Pelosi hasn't sent the articles because she fears Republicans will call witnesses who will damage the Democrats' case.
'Oh pfft,' Pelosi told Politico when asked if she was 'too afraid' to send the articles.
'Fear is never a word used with me. You should know right away,' she said. 'I'm never afraid and I'm rarely surprised.'

Once again this is redundant there are 10s of thousand sources that prove you and the guy from Harvard wrong. Just take Trump. Breitbart, and Limbaugh and the WSJs word for it.

The distinction youre making here that being an impeached president is some kind of specialized status is wrong.
Impeachment is the act of bringing charges against the President by the U.S. House of Representatives. Once those charges formally called Articles of Impeachment have been passed by a majority vote in the House, the President has been impeached.

I guess trump calling himself impeached means he and his advisors are idiots in your mind.

The bitch, Pelosi, may not be afraid because she knows that, in Politics, nothing happens by accident. (except in the case of the Clinton Crime Family.)
The only accident she fears is that her teeth fall out of her mouth and break on the floor.
She is a prime example of why women didn’t get the right to vote. They do this crap and vote to kill their children.
This nutjob sounds like Frank Booth.
There is about a 0.00000000000000000001% chance that 2/3rds of the Senate would actually vote to remove Trump, but in the event that hypothetically occurred, he wouldn't be able to return as President at a later date unless the Articles of Impeachment didn't bar him from future office.
The Articles of Impeachment explicitly banned Clinton from ever holding any future office in the United States. So if Slick Willie had hypothetically been removed from office, the ONLY way he'd ever be a "public servant" again would be by getting citizenship in another country and conning them into electing him.
Of course, its also possible the RATS forgot or didn't bother to include a clause barring Trump from holding office in the future. The Nixon impeachment (which never passed because Nixon resigned before they could vote on it) oddly enough didn't ban him from future office, though the RATS are so vindictive they'd probably sentence Trump to being flogged for the rest of his life except the Constitution doesn't allow corporal punishment for impeachment.
Nancy will be dead forever
Thanks fieldmarshaldj.
Should be lots of rope ‘round the necks.

..."Oh pfft, 'Fear' is never a word used with me, I'm never afraid"...........
A wise man 'fears' and turns from evil, a fool is confident in his own wisdom...
On that note 2020 is going to be an interesting year....
What empty accomplishment by the Dems.
They have nothing else to do for America but spend my tax money on their re-election campaign, in order to keep laundering money into their own pockets.
Shameful.
If I’m not mistaken it’s the Senate that chooses whether once they’ve convicted and removed someone whether they will be disqualified from holding Federal office again, they take a separate vote after conviction, and this an option they have with every case.
Trump says hes Ben impeached. He has advisors. Pelosi says hes been impeached. Limbaugh Hannity Breitbart wsj say impeached. So thats my short list. Figure it out
If nancy actually said “Oh pffft”, her teeth would come sailing out!
It’s not an impeachment until she sends the papers over to the Senate. It’s just a drama queen stunt until that point.
There are a lot of theories and opinions floating around. My point is that I do not know the exact legal definition of impeachment. I could probably find thousands of different opinions of impeachment. I do not think impeachment is official or legal until it is turned over to the Senate by the leader of the house and is accepted by the house. Everyone seems to have their own bias and opinions though.
