Trump should attend - no joke
“...agents shot back and killed the suspect...”
Good...
Adios cabrón.
You’re right. Good.
Though i must admit that my eyes first saw BORDER AGENT and KILLED and was relieved that it wasn’t a human agent with a wife and kids.
That in NO WAY means I don’t feel very bad about the dog.
They are loyal to a fault and aid us in the fight against narcotics.
Its not an officer or an agent it is a dog.
Gets it
Really! No kidding! How'd you manage to figure that one out all by yourself?
C'mon, don't cheat--you had help, right?
As other stated this was a dog - trained etc and doing dangerous work but an animal not a person - i wonder if in the cavalry they burried horses with honors? or mules or whatever pulled cannons and supplies around? Just as important a work in the aid of our country.
The way that many people love and feel about dogs, the murder of six K9 “officers” will speak more loudly for the need of a wall than the murder of human border officers.......suggest that we emphasize the dog angle to get more wall support from the Dems

EL PASO, Texas— El Paso Police confirmed that a 62-year-old man was shot and killed by police Tuesday morning after he fatally shot a police dog outside a northeast El Paso home.
The man’s name was not released by authorities.
Several law enforcement agencies, including the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), were attempting to execute a search warrant and an arrest warrant at a house in the 4500 block of Capricorn Drive.
The search and arrest warrants were related to charges of illegal possession and manufacturing of firearms.
During the execution of the arrest warrant, authorities said the man was confronted in the backyard of the home.
At that time, authorities said the man shot and killed a K9 officer and shot at the agents as well. ATF agents said they returned fire and the suspect was shot and died at the scene.”
Now we have someone killed in their backyard by the ATF&E.
I do not trust the Fed's who are known law breakers. Border Patrol agent Brian Terry can vouch for that.
You are right.
At first glance I didn’t see the K9 in the title.
Sorry :)
More than a modicum. He will receive full and proper honors.
I remember what it was like to loose a partner when my bloodhound was killed.
Terrible tragedy for me as well as my family.
They do more than that, they save agents lives. That dog is trained to protect the agents first and foremost. A Belgium has a heart the size of a Volswagen.
yes, it is a dog and still a Border Agent. Working dogs want to do the work of narcotics, explosives, etc just as the human who is a Border Agent is an agent because they choose to do the work. Not all dogs want to or are able to do the job, as with humans.
The K9 Agent gets specialized training as the human does for its job. And not all dogs pass the training just as not all humans pass the course. They are used because of their ability to do the job beyond that of a human in scent detection, to bring down a culprit in lieu of a human. This K9 death should be mourned as much as a human border agents.
And the hater trolls on this site can go suck lemons. Truth be told working dogs display better analytical skills, intelligence, loyalty, and class than the hate trolls on this site.
>>During the incident, agents shot back and killed the suspect.<<
BEST part of the entire article. But I’m very saddened by the loss of the dog.
Thank you.
