The entire House effort to impeach President Donald Trump has been a one-sided partisan effort; built upon a foundation of manipulation of process and dismissal of the minority rights throughout.
After the House voted along party lines, and in an act of stunning hubris, Speaker Pelosi now declares she will withhold the articles of impeachment until the Senate makes rules that she determines will be “fair” to the prosecution. [Video at 09:00 prompted]

No she is deliberately holding off on sending the Articles of Impeachment to the Senate because she thinks the Senate will be flipped come November. Then and only after the new members have taken their oaths, elected a new demoncrat leader in the Senate will she finally declare the rules as being fair and send over the Articles.
The demonrats honestly believe they will flip the Senate and hold onto the House. They also believe Trump will win 2nd term. And when this happens they will remove Trump and his running mate. They are setting Pence up already for impeachment by claiming he is complicit in Trump’s holding aid from Ukraine and Obstruction of Congress. This will then set the way for whoever is the Speaker of the House, which the demonrats believe it will be a demonrat. I am not sure Pehosi will be speaker after the November elections. I think she will retire and go the way of Reid. But then again Pehosi’s ego may not allow her to retire if she thinks she has a shot at being the first female President. Thus snubbing Hitlary at the same time. Pehosi has never liked the first domina in charge.
The Senate should submit to Pelosis’s request when Hell freezes over.

I just heard some talk radio guys say that Nancy is “chicken” to send it to the Senate. Then they suggested that Trump have “Chicken” rallys from now until she sends them.
Funny - but I don’t know. This is a serious charge, and while the Dems don’t seem to think it requires seriousness (in the form of facts and actual witnesses) - I hope that Trump continues to treat it seriously. Like he did in his letter.

Trump only "lost" the popular vote last time by 3 million votes.

Mitch should say “The Congressional Record shows the House passing articles of impeachment. The trial will begin on Jan 2, 2020.”
Then schedule a vote to dismiss.
I say follow the process the Constitution specifies. The Founders knew what they were doing when they wrote it. The House has done their job, such as it was (railroading the President). Now let the Senate do its job. The 'Rats can choose to be part of the process (send their managers to make their case) or not (withhold them). Let Trump make his case. Then vote to convict or acquit. That's it. And be quick about it because like most I'm getting very weary of the whole rotten show.
