A producer at CBS News alleged in a lawsuit filed Tuesday that she was ostracized, isolated and penalized after reporting inappropriate behavior by a veteran "60 Minutes" producer.
Associate Producer Cassandra Vinograd, who previously worked for The Associated Press and NBC News, joined "60 Minutes" in its London bureau in June. Soon thereafter, senior producer Michael Gavshon engaged in inappropriate behavior that included sharing a photo in a text message of him and several friends urinating on a fire, according to the lawsuit filed in New York Supreme Court. The photo was included as evidence in the lawsuit.
Vinograd, 35, said she was taken off of her regular workload after reporting the matter and asking for an investigation.
We look forward to holding CBS accountable for its unlawful conduct as alleged in the complaint, said Jeanne M. Christensen, a partner at Wigdor LLP, the New York-based law firm representing Vinograd. Contrary to CBSs claims that it is doing the right thing when female employees report gender-related misconduct, as alleged, it appears that no meaningful changes to the culture at CBS have been made. It appears that CBS continues to protect senior male talent at the expense of junior women business as usual.

I wonder if the Dan engaged in anything like this. Reading in Bernard Goldberg’s first book “Bias”, you really get to learn about what kind of nasty and vengeful pr%ck of a person he really is away from the camera.
She saw a photo of a bunch of men pissing on a fire acting like morons. Of course, the ho has to get paid some big money.
Typical. Before she gets a penny, I think there needs to be a thorough examination of how she has lived her life. If she’s been skanking drinking and slutting her way across London, she doesn’t have any right to run to the fainting couch when she sees a photo like that. I just bet she’s not an innocent little babe in the woods.
And this could be a he said/she said sort of situation. Maybe she and this guy had exchanged bawdy talk or texts aside from this specific event.
Agree a thorough examination of everything should happen, if they really want to go there, let’s go there.
Who takes a group picture of urinating on a anything and then shares it with people?
I don't know the validity of her claims but this is something I wouldn't think to do.
P!ssing on a campfire?
Good thing they didn’t show her a video of them lighting their f@rts.
“Who takes a group picture of urinating on a anything and then shares it with people? “
Similar stunts are posted on Facebook a thousand times per day. I have seen way worse. She is out for a payday and #metoo. I bet her gf’s have done way worse.
Prolly pissing on a picture of Trump...while it’s burning.
“Associate Producer Cassandra Vinograd”... “
Nobody ever believes a Cassandra.
I find it funny that after overplaying their hand in the “me too” movement, men are to the point that they avoid being alone with women and hesitate to place them in positions of leadership due to the environment of fear that it creates. No closed doors, no one-on-one meetings over dinner, no twosome of golf, no overnight business trip to NYC or London, where accusations could be made and careers (and lives) destroyed. Nothing sums that up better than a picture of “the guys” out in the woods pissing on a campfire. A perfect metaphor.
You think that a picture of male co-workers with exposed genitals is appropriate for sharing in a workplace?
Mkay...
Your weird post says more about you than her.
Tick, tick, tick...
It’s not like he sent her a “dick pic”. It’s a 40+ year old pic of him and a childhood friend peeing on a fire. Apparently that friend had just recently passed. He apologized and said he thought he had sent it to his sister, who is also the deceased pisser’s friend. Looking at the 40+ year old pic, it’s not like you can really see anything, so it doesn’t make much sense that he was trying to send a pic of exposed genitals. It seems to me, this guys problems lay more in his drinking than sending inappropriate pics.
