Hannie Schaft and Freddie Oversteegen (right) used good looks and flirtatious ruses to coax Nazis out of Dutch bars and to their deaths -- at times pulling the triggers themselves.

When she came across a Nazi killing an infant by repeatedly swinging its tiny body against a brick wall, Truus Oversteegen didn’t flinch.
The freckle-faced teenager, who was just three months shy of her 17th birthday when Germany invaded the Netherlands in May 1940, was a newly minted member of the Dutch resistance. She had been mostly assigned to hide Jewish children, political dissidents and homosexuals in various safe houses throughout Haarlem, her hometown, which was about 12 miles west of Amsterdam.
But what she saw now forced her to act with a sudden, brutal energy.
“He grabbed the baby and hit it against the wall,” Truus recalled years later of the horrifying scene. “The father and sister had to watch. They were obviously hysterical. The child was dead.”
Truus quietly pointed her gun in the direction of the Nazi and shot him dead.
“That wasn’t an assignment,” she said. “But I don’t regret it . . . We were dealing with cancerous tumors in our society that you had to cut out like a surgeon.”
Truus, her younger sister, Freddie, and law student Hannie Schaft were among a handful of young women who took on clandestine roles to destabilize Nazis during the Second World War. While women’s resistance work was largely confined to spying, code-breaking and typing, few actively dared to take on the work of the Dutch trio — as underground assassins.

THIS, I do not believe. Sounds like World War 1 British propaganda made up by imaginative propagandists. Not that I have anything against wartime propaganda as a necessary tool to employ.
I don’t get this “dead eye” thing - I never see any difference.
Funny thing about Hillary how she’s faked herself in her lust for power - blue contacts - pretending she’s not sick - staying with a rapist - glamming herself up when her natural inclination is not to care.

Not sure but I bet the top two would be able to pass the DC bar exam if they had gone through an American law school. The bottom one did not have the “necessities” to accomplish that.

However, the NAZIs in the Netherlands summarily executed whole families, if they did not come up with the firearms that were registered in their name.
So, it might have been something like that.
Comments reveal how successful the anti-German propaganda campaign has been. Every year a new anti-Nazi movie. Many anti-racists condemning a nationality. This is World War I propaganda. The Germans come in third in the mass murder competition.
Those poor victimized Germans.
I’ve always said the Dutch were the closest Europeans to how we are in America. This fits right in. I have no doubt MANY American women of the day would have done this willingly and often.
No surprise, the 1st thing that came to my mind when I saw the headline. “Poldermans told The Post, adding that the sisters were also ostracized because “they had worked closely with the Communist Party” in a country that became virulently anti-Soviet after the war.” Kinda like the Marquis who were infiltrated by mostly communists. Looks like Nazis vs Commies, pass the pop corn. I bet there is even more to this story, just saying, when it comes to history much is missed and never remembered. (on all sides) The girls took risks, and were brave, but they were partisans, and you know what they did with them when caught. If the German girls did that to our GIs during the occupation, how do you think we would handle them, like they were nuns? Would we not consider them as murderers? I guess its a mater of who’s foot the shoe is on.
