Both the Ds and Rs have a number of young and capable possible candidates coming up.
The D problem is that they have made stars out of many Rs who had very salient points against the abuse of power by the Dems’ impeachment attempt.
Impeachment was intended to protect the Presidency.
After the coming indictments against Trump haters and Dems and the abject failure of the impeachment and Mueller efforts, I think the Dems are going to be out of power for a long time, beyond 2024.
