I said this many months ago.
If the democrats go through with this, they set the precedent;
Not only have them demonstrated that a house majority can use apparent political convenience to impeach a sitting president of the opposite party, but they must be shown how egregious and partisan it really is by exposing their hypocrisy when it gets done to them.
The DNC is dead. It has been replaced by the “Socialist Democratic Party.” We only await their official name change on their documents - their letterhead. Maybe at the convention.

Yes! But the protocol is to first have a special council investigate the new president for two years first. That way, there will be plenty of dirt for the impeachment.
"Impeaching" a political opponent should never be a common tactic. Win elections, or GTFOOH.
IMHO it’s a stupid argument which legitimizes what they are doing. Focus on the enemy not on ourselves.

I heard Levin make this silly demand.
But I really didn’t think he is serious. He probably believes he can put a little fear into the Dimwits heads and maybe move a few votes in Trumps direction when the House finally gets around to voting on The Great Nothing Burger Impeachment of 2019.
The polls and a big Trump win next November will be all it takes to make the Dems think twice about repeating their mistakes of the last 3 years. I don’t expect any Impeachment Talk in Trump’s second term.
Levin could not object if the Democrats recruited one of Anwar al_Awlaki’s kids to run for President, even though they were born in Yemen to one citizen parent, because they are just as eligible as Ted Cruz.
The Dems are willing to get now and dirty and punch and hit while the Republicans cry for civility as they are being pummeled.
