BREAKING: Boris Johnson’s Conservatives on course for huge victory, exit poll projects
CNN ^

Boris Johnson’s Conservative Party is on course for a huge majority in Parliament, according to an exit poll from the UK’s three main broadcasters.

The projections will be a big disappointment for Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party and suggests Johnson will be able to pass his Brexit deal comfortably.

The exit poll is usually fairly accurate but a lot can still change as the night progresses and actual results begin to come through. Here’s the exact seat numbers from the exit poll, which predicts a huge Conservative win. 326 seats are needed for a majority.

Conservatives: 368

Labour: 191

SNP: 55

Liberal Democrats: 13

Plaid Cmyru: 3

A handful of smaller parties have also been projected to pick up seats.

After they withdrew from the Tory incumbent seats their poll numbers tanked.

But even before that, there were gonna win zero or at most one or 2 seats. UKIP was a decent third place with 12% nationally in 2015 and got 1 seat. 10% in every constituency doesn’t translate to winning any.

I think Farage realized he didn’t want to get blamed for splitting the vote but was too stubborn to pack it in altogether, which for the record I think he should have done.

Tonight, Fair Britannia has recouped some of Her past glory.
For the first time since the almost-forgotten BREXIT vote, I feel in the mood for a rousing chorus of:

“Rule Britannia... Britannia rule the waves!
Britons never, never, never, shall be slaves!”

The Woke flakes are having a complete meltdown on Twatter. I really liked this gem:

“Bye bye Socialism, bye bye integrity, bye bye scrutiny, bye bye journalism, bye bye national health service, bye bye BBC, bye bye Northern Ireland, bye bye Scotland, bye bye European Union, goodbye democracy...”

So, they served their purpose in keeping the Tories feet to the fire.

Doesn’t change the fact that Farage threatened Boris he better do HIS Brexit.
Just imagine the nerve to tell the PM that.
Then yes Farage caved.
But today’s result makes the threat that Boris better do HIS Brexit look totally ridiculous.

He may have scared the Tories to kick it into gear, and if that was his aim, good.

But risking letting Corbyn in there? Can’t be defended.

“Is there any Trump effect here?”

Likely inspiration to fight.

Gee, what happened to the predictions of a much smaller Conservative majority in Parliament?

Why? Tories did well in part due to Farage making a deal with Boris.

Why do they have so many elections?

We (in the USA) have more Congressional Elections than they (in the UK) have Parliamentary Elections. (This is their sixth this century.)

I get it.
You don’t want to share a laugh about Farage being exposed as a Joker.
A Joker who thought he could threaten the sitting PM to do his Brexit or else... LOL!

He stayed on message....He’s for the good of the country. He doesn’t waiver. Sound familiar?

That "Leave, Actually" campaign ad that Boris did was brilliant. Must've made the Remainers livid.

They were probably trying to discourage conservatives from voting.

Better tell President Trump not to make a congratulatory call or there might be another Article of Impeachment.

“Wow — good to see this.”

Glad he won because of his politics but morally he’s a dirt bag. Read Wikipedia.
