We know at least two House Democrats will vote no. Opposition to impeachment is already bipartisan.

Same result in the Senate. Why House Democrats still want to go ahead with it makes no sense whatsoever.

If Jones internals show he has a chance of re-election the could lose him because he knows he’s dead if votes to convict. Manchin just re-elected so it’s hard to say. The “Mi Dude” is up in 20 and in very close race but I would be shocked if he broke ranks and Senema is out in space so who knows.

Manchin might run for Governor and his state is conservative. He’s a guaranteed no vote. Same with Jones. As for Sinema, she’ll follow the polls.

Deep Down, I believe this whole charade was so that Pelosi could turn around and say, “Ok, guys, I got you your impeachment, so leave me alone.”

She won’t pay the price for it, the Squad will, and the thing is, both her and Trump will end up benefitting from it, because she will regain control over the Party.

Which leads me to think that behind the scenes this is all Kabuki Theater and Pelosi and Trump have worked it all out.

Always remember, things are never as they seem in DC.

I really like it that the younger Democrat politicians are willing to sacrifice their futures to try and cover up the crimes of the old Democrat leaders.

Its fundraising. They need the cash. “Russia” was what the used to win in 2018 so they need to activate the same hate this time. They really don’t have a choice. I fully expect them to actively try to ruin the economy next.

three Democrat senators could vote to clear President Donald Trump of any wrongdoing during a potential Senate impeachment trial.

They're hurrying to get on record now since they know it's unlikely there will be any hearings...........

Re: Sinema

Don't be fooled, it is an act.

When the Rats really need her vote, she will be there for them. They don't 'need' her vote on this one, as we all know it is a losing proposition.

I expect more than three Rats will vote in Trump's favor and they will be doing so to save their hides, not his.

No one wants to take a vote. Wouldn’t surprise me if it was dismissed with prejudice.

Manchin won’t vote for this crap.. take that to the bank.

Doug Jones knows if he votes for it he’s done, but he’s probably done anyway, so who knows what he’ll do.

If they are on the ballot this fall and not in a deep blue state, I would openly assume they will likely not vote to convict.

She’s been remarkably *not* progressive; just Democrat.

It’s unexpected.

But just like Tulsi, still a Democrat.

It should be, the process the House Engaged in was a complete Joke... the Senate should just dismiss it with prejudice.... If you want to hold a proper investigation and draft real articles from it, we’ll take up a case. but this clear did not remotely follow anything close to due process.

Sinema is very popular among Republicans. She is fair and a moderate. Schumer doesn’t push her. She frequently hangs out with Ted Cruz.

This will offset the votes of Romney, Collins, and Murkowski.

Yes, and sets it up to happen in the future again....

This should not be taken seriously by the Senate, because its a joke, and EVERYONE knows it.... even the folks trying to push in the house on the D side don’t believe the horsecrap they are spouting... they are just pushing it through to say they did it.

They won’t convict - not with the absence of evidence Democrats have and the absurd nature of the charges.

You can take that to the bank.
