It has always baffled me that Biden had any career left after he flamed out of the 1988 primary. The video of him attacking the fellow in the crowd at the NH teacher's event is just incomprehensible. He stands there on video, up close and personal and makes four untrue claims (about academic standing, awards, performance, law review participation, etc.) in the course of presenting the argument - I am better than you (as shown by these claimed awards) therefore I am correct and you are not.

When the points were shown to be false, that should have been it for Joe's career - how do you explain that in an adult? Perhaps in a child, but not an adult who had already served several terms in the Senate.

Now, Republicans never pressed that. But, once again, Trump is a different kind of Republican, and he would not be shy about pouring gasoline all over Biden's falsehoods and lack of integrity and tossing in the match.
