Peter Buttigieg, the Mayor of South Bend (a small city in Indiana) is pretending to be a “moderate” Democrat, aiming at attracting away the supporters of Joe Biden worried about his increasingly bizarre behavior. But his body language betrayed his true radicalism and desire to pander to far left yesterday, appearing with Reverend William Barber at an event sponsored by the Poor People’s Campaign. Ryan Saavedra of the Daily Wire noticed:
“Let me ask you a couple quick rapid-fire [questions],” Barber began. “Do you think we need to also stop allowing forces to demonize ‘people who are trying to get their immigration status’ and we start lifting up all the ways they benefit this country?”
“Yeah, I mean the uncomfortable reality is that undocumented folks are in many ways, like Social Security, subsidizing everybody else,” Buttigieg claimed.
“And we need to talk about that – and shouldn’t we have some conversation whenever people say, we call people ‘illegal aliens’ and all these things that are not human, are certainly not Christian,” Barber continued. “Why can’t we just own in America that some of the people that are trying to come from Mexico here are coming back to land we stole, and the reason we took the land is because people wanted to keep their slaves?

The illegals of today, if Indian rather than mestizo, are mostly the descendants of people the Aztecs would have ritually sacrificed and cannibalized had the Spanish not saved their lives by destroying the Aztec death cult. They have exactly the same claim to lands north of the Rio Grande that I have to land on the French Riveria because my ancestors came from Scotland and Germany. I.e., none.
Illegals are recovering stolen land they stole from the Indian’s in the first place hows that for logic.
Other than parts of Texas, lost by Mexico in 1836, most of the Southwest which was taken from Mexico was not suitable for the plantation slavery of the Southeast, as was recognized at the time. The Southern politicians insisted on their right to try to carve new slave states out of the new territory but it was a hopeless cause. Texas had the right to divide itself into as many as 5 states but they could not figure out how to do that and create states where slaveholders would dominate the government.
Most of the illegal immigrants are NOT descended from people who ever lived in what is now the US.

The Press needs to ask Butthead how many illegals were given free land when he was the failed Mayor of South Bend? Lot of boarded up buildings in South Bend as middle class families get out of town.
