Acting Deputy Homeland Security Secretary Ken Cuccinelli fired back at former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley on Thursday after the Democrat forced Cuccinelli to leave an event Thanksgiving eve, with Cuccinelli claiming O'Malley's "sad" and "shocking" outburst was so vitriolic his neck veins were "bulging."
Cuccinelli, in a lengthy statement to Fox News, recalled Wednesday night’s incident, which took place at the Dubliner—an Irish pub on Capitol Hill where he and O’Malley were attending an event with fellow graduates of Gonzaga College High School before O’Malley’s “shame-invoking tirade” forced Cuccinelli to leave.

“I arrived at The Dubliner to meet with some of my Gonzaga classmates last night, Cuccinelli said in the statement. “As I walked up to one of the bars among several in The Dubliner to order my Guinness, I heard screaming and cussing behind me to my left, which I did not immediately take notice of other than the fact that it was louder than everything else in the pub.”
Cuccinelli continued: “When I turned to look I saw O'Malley and he was obviously screaming at me. For a moment I thought he was trying to be funny, as we've met before, which I thought was strange. It was immediately clear that he was cursing and screaming for real, to the point of veins bulging on his neck.”
Cuccinelli added that O’Malley had “also inspired one or two of his (apparent) buddies to join in the cussing assault,” which the Trump official said he attempted to ignore. Cuccinelli said he proceeded to attempt to order at a different bar within The Dubliner, but that O’Malley followed him.

Grown us in the Trump administration shouldn’t be assaulting people. They would definitely be called fascist bullies after that. Conservatives need to remember the opposite is actually true.

Hate to say this, but...there seems to be many Irish sounding names on the Left. That is a stupid generalization, I know, but this story exemplifies it.

Cucchinelli was just on Fox. Says he did not leave the bar as stated in the press. O’Malley was a boorish ass. Fox tried to reach him for comment and he wasn’t available

Heh, I can’t say that I remember, but...I will say that is a personality fault of mine, except in egregious cases, I tend not to hold onto things like that.
I remember the good characteristics of people and sometimes, to my detriment, forget the bad.

OTOH, my late mother’s best friend is married to an Irishman named Morris O’Brien, and I’ve met him. He is one of the nicest people I have met. He’s actually a proud native of Ireland, where they live.
I had seen that “Stop The Hammering” video, and while hilarious, it is disturbing. I try not to find fault with people who take their work seriously, but...that wasn’t a case of Lawrence O’Donnell taking his work seriously, it was a case of someone taking themselves WAAAYYY too seriously.
He came across as mentally unstable there.
But it was still hilarious!!!!!!!
I only remember you gently admonishing me for some thing that I wasn’t looking at in its entirety, and when I had a chance to reflect on it, I saw I was not thinking it through.
And that is one of the things I like about Free Republic and some of the people who frequent it-I like it when someone takes the time to make a case for something, instead of simply ripping your head off for somehow not being privy to every aspect of some issue.
I really dislike that. So...I would know for sure if you ever really “jumped in my s**t”!
The way I have long seen it, Leftists are Leftists BEFORE anything they are anything else.
This guy O'Malley is just a Leftist which means he is a Leftist before he is an Irishman. That he is an Irishman too is of little consequence IMO.
