President Trump has made his son-in-law Jared Kushner the de facto project manager for constructing his border wall...
The presidents son-in-law and senior adviser is pressing U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to expedite the process of taking over private land needed for the project as the government seeks to meet Trumps goal of erecting 450 miles of barriers along the U.S.-Mexico border by the end of 2020. More than 800 filings to seize private property will need to be made in the coming months if the government is going to succeed...
Kushner insists the administration remains on target to meet the presidents goal of 450 miles by the end of next year, a pace that will require construction to accelerate at least fourfold, according to government data reviewed by The Washington Post. The presidents son-in-law has set a goal of 30 to 35 miles of new barriers per month by spring, requiring crews to average a new linear mile of fencing every day.

It means President Trump is prioritizing the border wall. He’s sending someone he’s worked with before and trusts.
You can bet Jared will have quite a bit of authority.
There are a lot of sections that have started. A mile a day is quite feasable.
Ann went off the rails awhile ago and shes too unimportant to make a comeback. That toothpaste is not going back in the tube.
Shell ultimately go the way of Bill Kristol.
I thought Bill was gay. Well, maybe that still works.
After bringing peace to the middle east this should be a snap for Jared. Oh wait...
Fencing?
Yes, Bobby was a case study in nepotism. Even a bigger case study because while Jared will be a project manager, Bobby was the chief law enforcement officer in the land back in 1961.
It would be much more expensive and take far longer to build.
No, it's America's border wall. Bought and paid for with our tax dollars for our protection. Thank you, Mr. President!
He’s apparently failed miserably as Director of Human Resources for the Trump administration.
Totally agree. Interesting that Michelle Malkin is bashing this. The Coulterization of Malkin is complete.
People don’t understand that Kushner not only raised the money for Trump’s campaign, but ran the budget on a shoestring. He and Bannon were absolutely indispensable to winning. He will be able to get money from turnips for this.
It would be cheaper still if made of paper...
The purpose of the wall is NOT to make the job easier for border patrol agents.
This choice makes as much sense as asking the men who mow grass to design a city park landscape. The result might be a very ugly park that’s easy and fast to mow.
I was 6 when Bobby Kennedy was shot, so dont recall much if anything about him. But to hijack a phrase, “JKF is no DJT” and the Kennedy’s were nothing but politicians, the whole lot of them.
Anyway, like I said, I dont have any strong opinion one way or the other about Jared. I just havent seen a very impressive list of his accomplishments and look forward to seeing that if someone has one to share.
Jared is Trump’s right hand man. Trump gives him his more important tasks and as of now Jared has always been successful. IIRC Jared, like Trump, does not take any US gov $$$. We are lucky to have him working on our behave.
Ann Coulter ends Ann Coulter’s career
Jared knows how to get things done.
Good. Keep the Leftist bungler away from the Middle East.
