The Democratic ticket Trump doesn't want in 2020
The Hill ^ | 11/23/2019 | DOUGLAS MACKINNON

Pete Buttigieg’s recent popularity surge in Iowa and New Hampshire has many speculating that President Trump could face a Democratic ticket in 2020 that he doesn’t want and fears the most — the South Bend, Ind., mayor and another candidate recently in the spotlight, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii.

Despite what the “experts” might say, it’s certainly possible. Like weather forecasters and economists, political pundits often are proven embarrassingly wrong. Voters from both parties have a tendency to recalibrate rather quickly, and quite unexpectedly, toward candidates they believe actually might have a chance of winning.

In 2004, for example, Democratic voters threw the preening pundits a curveball when, during the primary process, they suddenly tapped on the brakes, took a much longer and harder look at frontrunner Gov. Howard Dean of Vermont and turned in the slightly more “establishment” direction of Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts.

Four years later, Democratic primary voters most certainly went counterintuitive again when they bypassed the pundit-approved and -predicted candidate of Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, for relatively unknown Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.

Puke/choke/gag/drool/puke repeat.

Yeah, Ameriocan voters will go for a Demshevik commie homo. Someone might say, well they voted for 0bola. He was closeted for one thing, and the media totally covered for his real views, and tons of election fraud, especially in 2012.

Buttplug will never, ever win against Trump, not a chance in hell.

“You don’t go from being Mayor of 100,000 people size town to being President.”

Trump went from never holding office, being elected POTUS on his first try. That’s the beauty of America. never say never in politics, even going from being a mayor to POTUS.

That aside, yes, Mayor Pete is a joke. Should he become the demokraps’ nominee, those likely to vote for him would see what an empty suit he is, and tire of him very quickly right after Labor Day 2020.

Tulsi Gabbard could be a problem because she’s got the same type of anti-establishment vibe that made Trump popular. And she hides her far-left politics behind more populist topics.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ads with video of her statements will make her unwinnable.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say a homo can’t win the presidency.
Are we that far gone? Good grief I hope not.
Liberals have set up queers as the third rail.
No media would dare disagree either.
Biden / Sanders - the grim reaper derby. People will be placing bets on which one dies first.
Pete Buttigieg is a nothing burger candidate regardless of how the polling and media depict him. He has a lot of strikes against him in an unsuccessful backgroud of non-accomplisments as well as other reasons he’d never stand against Trumps accomplishments before and after his 2016 win.
Surely you jest! Peter Buttguy and Tulsi?
The dems are trying to get rid of Tulsi for lacking sufficient hatred and for being honest and reasonable. They will never nominate her. It will be the person chosen by DNC as nearest to their ideal of bringing this great country down. That would be hillary, if she runs, or bloomerberg if she doesn’t.
And Peter is not rising (snicker). They know danmed well that petey is just pretending to run while picking up some name recognition. They will not nominate him. Imagine petey and “his husband” on state visit to Saudi Arabia.
Does anyone really believe that Donald Trump is concerned about any of the Democrat candidates? Hopefully, it is not overconfidence but President Trump is very well positioned right now to be re-elected.
Tulsi seems to be an attractive candidate at first glance but under more careful examination, her support would evaporate.
How long ago was it that the "experts" were saying the scary candidate for Trump was Beto who would rally the Hispanic vote into an irresistible force?
...I’ve discussed with a number of friends and political operatives from both parties that the two Democrats who should strike the most fear in Trump are Buttigieg and Gabbard....If I were in the Trump White House or campaign, that ticket would send chills down my spine.
the writer of this is a guy who worked for Reagan and Bush I.
Seems to me he has gone off the deep end.
I mean, he is correct in observing history: Obama was chosen over "experts" choice Hitlery in 2008, and Trump was chosen over "experts" choices in 2016.
I don't think Pete n Tulsi will go over in the Demon Rat primaries. Pete is inexperienced and notable basically because of his chosen lifestyle. Tulsi is a liberal masquerading as a conservative--which will make her anathema to the typical Demon Rat primary voter.
Years ago their was a question of JFK becoming President because he was a Catholic. One more generation taught by the Deep State education system and anything is possible. Has Pimp With A Limp jumped in yet? Homos, fake Indians, swamis, commies, etc. The media will portray them as winners. The deceased will not be disenfranchised. It will be interesting.
