Look, the case has been made. Almost everything in the impeachment hearings this week fleshed out and backed up the charge that President Trump muscled Ukraine for political gain. The pending question is what precisely the House and its Democratic majority will decide to include in the articles of impeachment, what statutes or standards they will assert the president violated.
What was said consistently undermined Mr. Trump’s case, but more deadly was what has never been said. In the two months since Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment inquiry was under way and the two weeks since the Intelligence Committee’s public hearings began, no one, even in the White House, has said anything like, “He wouldn’t do that!” or “That would be so unlike him.” His best friends know he would do it and it’s exactly like him.

Following the same propaganda you see with a contested vote - if it’s 51-49% with the R is leading then it’s vote fraud and we must have recounts. When the D is leading it’s a done vote - the science is settled and we must move respect the results of the vote.

I, too, believe President Trump put pressure on a foreign leader who needed something from the United States for gain. I hope the gain was the pursuit of justice and to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, but I accept that some or all of the purpose may have been to hurt a political rival.
I have said from the beginning that these actions should have been, and should be, defended as good, right, normal, and within the scope of his office.
I believed that then, and I believe that now.

So the fact he has claimed (as has every so called witness) there was no quid pro quo, except in their “opinion” means nothing but because no one has said he was not the sort of person who would do that, he is somehow guilty of something?
Once again the evidence of wrongdoing is unimportant but how people FEEL is what determines guilt or innocence?
