If the last 24 hours have proven anything about Chick-fil-A, it's this: It was never about the chicken. For millions of Americans, there was a much deeper significance behind every decision to pull in the parking lot and walk through those doors. It wasn't about the menu. It wasn't even about the service. It was that every time someone ate there, they were making a cultural statement. Chick-fil-A was a business, yes. But it was also a giant rebuttal of everything the bullies stood for. Until it wasn't.

You mean like THIS??

In the case of Nike, their most loyal and fanatical customers tend not to be Trump supporters.
I don’t buy at Target, Dicks and now CFl.....
Chik-fil-A = New Coke
Strongly disagree. You don't become the 3rd largest food chain by closing on Sunday's or instructing team members to say "my pleasure".
I tried their chicken when the HOMOS and LESBOS started attacking them for their Christian Values.
The chicken was OK (not great) but OK, kept going back whenever I was in an area that had one of their stores, WON’T BE DOING THAT ANYMORE!
When you shed the SALVATION ARMY, you shed me, FOREVER!
It’s very disappointing. I very rarely eat fast food, but I think their food is actually pretty good for fast food, their stores are generally quite clean for that sort of thing, and the service is always outstanding. It’s always been like a trip back in time. I will miss it when I think about it. They ditched the Salvation Army, and they will get nothing for it in return.
Bump

I hear that they’re opening one in a city closer that’s on the way to my parents’ place. I might actually get to sample them in the coming months. An assortment of local joints here are going to be hard to beat. In my parents’ town there’s a locally-owned place which makes all their burgers out of grass-fed beef and has fries almost identical to Five Guys. Fantastic food! The bar within a stone’s throw of my place is hard to beat. There’s a great local joint around the corner from my work and a pub which knocks everything on their menu out of the park a mere mile from work. When I want a burger, each has their merits.
I don’t understand the hype about In & Out but I’ll be able to say I’ve tried it soon.
I was mistaken, btw: To go to I&O currently it’s a 3 1/2 hour drive. Might as well be in Indy.
*sigh* I wish all the SA defenders would read any of our postings on the truth about the SA.
It was a shock to me this August when I was looking to donate items, that they are caving far too much to queers. And they have obviously been quiet about it, successfully, keeping devotees in the dark.
Absolutely excellent point. AND it STILL is not quite nation-wide!
Again, read up on the truth about SA and homos.
Hmm...
My precious children die or I get shot and they get sent into the “system”.
Or I keep my mouth shut and head down and I get to see them grow up, and I possibly hold a small amount of conservative sway in their thoughts.
Most folks choice will be very obvious (if they have kids).
This article indicates what has been going on with their CFA Foundation donations. Underneath the image façade CFA is just another Lib corporation.
“I dont understand the hype about In & Out”
Ditto. We ate there when we lived in CA, and In ‘n’ Out is practically a cult. Their burgers are OK, but nothing special.
As far as Chick-fil-a goes, it’s just OK, too. The only thing I really LIKE-like is their frozen slushy coffee drink.

Well; at least you ain’t gonna be waiting for the bozo in front of you to decide which kind of food to eat!
ALL of the others just HAD to jump on the bandwagon of expanded menus and trying to be everything to everyone.
That’s sad, but not surprising. CFA dropped a group that was already caving to the pressure from the Left? I hope they all get plenty of upvotes on social media.
Thank you for the heads up. I will look for those posts, though they are probably kind of depressing.
