I wouldn’t call it taking one for the team but more like overreacting.
I don’t know what he means by ‘took out the bus”.
The Headline did not match the testimony he made and Wallace did not even provide anything from his testimony to show how he “took out the bus” ( his words ).
But let’s for the sake of argument, grant that Sondland proved Wallace’s case ( which he did not ).
THIS IS THE WORST CASE SCENARIO FOR TRUMP.
The Democrat’s accusation is this — Trump used the condition that Ukraine investigate Joe Biden’s influence peddling by withholding promised US foreign aid as leverage.
Let’s say, worst case, that this accusation can be proven (it has not ). Why is this impeachable?
1) It is a known fact that Joe Biden threatened to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine if they did not fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma’s corruption.
2)It is a known fact that Joe Biden’s son sits on the board of Burisma and was receiving over $80,000 a month for a position he was not qualified for ( confirmed by Lt. Col. Vindeman himself ).
3) It is a known fact that Joe Biden OPENLY BOASTED (we have the video) that he had the prosecutor fired USING US foreign aid as leverage.
4) It is a known fact that the foreign aid was given AFTER the prosecutor was fired.
WHY SHOULD TRUMP, WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE CONCERNED WITH UKRAINE’s CORRUPTION AS THE CHIEF ENFORCER OF OUR LAWS NOT WANT TO HAVE THIS INVESTIGATED?
Unlike Mueller’s probe, this isn’t even a fishing expedition. The evidence is already there ( heck I haven’t even mentioned China yet ).
So, even if Trump used this as a quid pro quo to withhold foreign aid ( which he did not ), he is well within his authority to do so.
The fact that an investigation would benefit him since Biden is a political opponent is incidental. The more important point is THERE IS EVIDENCE OF CORRUPTION and it must be investigated.
There is nothing impeachable here. If any, Joe Biden should be disqualified from running until this whole thing is cleared up.

Remember, the President was given cliff notes before the phone call. Vindman said Biden and Barisma were not mentioned in the notes he provided. But I believe Volker said the cliff notes did obtain Biden and Barisma.

So Chris Wallace let me explain whey being born on 3rd is a problem.
Think of the difference between Joe Kennedy and his worthless son Teddy. Because Joe Kennedy wasn't born on third - like YOUR father - he moved up in part because the people ABOVE him AND the people BELOW him trusted him. Trusted him - not phonies in 'polite society'... which is crap... The difference? Joe Kennedy would NEVER have walked away in a drunken stupor while a young woman died in an overturned car. If Joe Kennedy had been that type he NEVER would have accomplish the things he did.
And your Dad Chris would have more sympathy for the political 'out group'. And no Chris that was NOT black citizens. They were the 'out group' when your dad was young - and he worked at being fair and protective of them because he didn't have to be part of the dominate 'group think' of his time. YOU Chirs Wallace stand with the Establishment. YOU stand with the power insiders. If you had been a journalist in the early sixties you would have stood with the racists. So yeah Chris Wallace YOU can do the job but when a young woman is drowning in a car you would be waddling off in a drunken stupor... you got where you are because of your daddy - not because on your way up those you worked with pushed you forward.
Maybe Hunter. Biden was worth a million a year in an insustry he knows nothing about in a country he can't speak the language in - but I doubt it. I not a fan of Joe Biden but he got to the top on his own and along the way he earned the trust of those above him and below him... That didn't happen with Hunter.
So Chris Wallace - it might be time to move on to MSNBC or CNN - where you'll find lots of people born on third...
