I don’t know what he means by ‘took out the bus”.
The Headline did not match the testimony he made and Wallace did not even provide anything from his testimony to show how he “took out the bus” ( his words ).
But let’s for the sake of argument, grant that Sondland proved Wallace’s case ( which he did not ).
THIS IS THE WORST CASE SCENARIO FOR TRUMP.
The Democrat’s accusation is this — Trump used the condition that Ukraine investigate Joe Biden’s influence peddling by withholding promised US foreign aid as leverage.
Let’s say, worst case, that this accusation can be proven (it has not ). Why is this impeachable?
1) It is a known fact that Joe Biden threatened to withhold foreign aid to Ukraine if they did not fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma’s corruption.
2)It is a known fact that Joe Biden’s son sits on the board of Burisma and was receiving over $80,000 a month for a position he was not qualified for ( confirmed by Lt. Col. Vindeman himself ).
3) It is a known fact that Joe Biden OPENLY BOASTED (we have the video) that he had the prosecutor fired USING US foreign aid as leverage.
4) It is a known fact that the foreign aid was given AFTER the prosecutor was fired.
WHY SHOULD TRUMP, WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE CONCERNED WITH UKRAINE’s CORRUPTION AS THE CHIEF ENFORCER OF OUR LAWS NOT WANT TO HAVE THIS INVESTIGATED?
Unlike Mueller’s probe, this isn’t even a fishing expedition. The evidence is already there ( heck I haven’t even mentioned China yet ).
So, even if Trump used this as a quid pro quo to withhold foreign aid ( which he did not ), he is well within his authority to do so.
The fact that an investigation would benefit him since Biden is a political opponent is incidental. The more important point is THERE IS EVIDENCE OF CORRUPTION and it must be investigated.
There is nothing impeachable here. If any, Joe Biden should be disqualified from running until this whole thing is cleared up.
