Moments before Wednesday’s impeachment hearings and right after U.S. Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland’s opening statement was released, Fox News contributor Ken Starr wondered aloud whether Sondland flipping on President Trump would cause GOP senators to push Trump to resign. “The real issue is the senators are watching,” Starr said. “Are senators going to now say in light of what we hear today, it’s going to be a long day even with the ambassador alone, in light of what we have heard, ‘We need to make a trip down to the White House’? That historic example set during the Nixon presidency. From what I’ve been able to glean I don’t think that’s going to happen. But obviously what happens today could—has the potential to be a game-changer.

The GOP was all but dead before President Trump resuscitated them in 2016. If they coerce him into resigning (which I don't think they can do) it will be the final nail in the coffin.

Funny....everyone was quoting Starr yesterday about he claimed there’s no impeachable offenses. Today... Sondland Sang... sad to say... its over for Trump. The court of public opinion is on speed dial (social media) the chorus will be overwhelming.... trump will make them go thru with it. The actual vote to impeach will be close and if Trump prevails, he won’t be re-elected. He’ll be too damaged.

The Ukrainian parliament just demanded an investigation into a 7.5 Billion bribery concerning the Oligarchs, the Democrats, and Poroshenko. The US is required by treaty to launch it. This is actually huge for exposing The Bidens, Clintonso and previous administration.

Rush gave a good summation today. .. ukraine had been helping hillary and the dims trying to take Trump out when campaigning. they and dems were in collusion. ukraine was corrupt and Trump was not going to give millions of tax dollars to a corrupt gov.
then the new leader was elected in ukraine and was trying to curry favor from our president. Trump talked to him before giving the millions in aid..

They had sondland on perjury. He was probably told it was OK to amend his story as he “learned more”, but after submitting two competing narratives under oath, I’m guessing the democrats told him they’d prosecute if he didn’t keep going.

Today was in a way better. At least a few Repubs werer emphasizing that fighting corruption and minimizing foreign aid are constants, priorities for President Trump.
What I find revealing is how thoroughly the Deep State is in charge of Foreign Policy and how self-righteous they are about it. There's no reason we should be in Ukraine and there's no reason we should be involved in European territorial disputes. Last I took a look at the map, there's a whole lot of problems that need attention in our back yard.
Over the seven decades of my life I can safely say that the answer to what I’m witnessing going in DeeCee isn’t more Republicans. A few dozen will put up a stink, but the overwhelming majority are useless. We need young blood and new thinking. I doubt we’ll see that until our backs are against the wall.
Trump will not Resign—its not in his DNA. He will fight and, if given a chance he will pull down the whole corrupt Democrat Party and every Senator running for President will be stuck in Washington right up to October. The country will be pulled apart with riots and fighting in the streets. In such a case the death list will be in the hundreds. National Guards troops will need to guard Polling Places. It will go all Third World. When The Democrats lose they will go for assassinations of Trump and Pence to put Nancy in as the 46th President with appointed VP Hillary Clinton. That’s when the real fighting will start.
Since Election Day in 2016 the 'Rats have thrown everything including the kitchen sink at Trump. It's all failed because Trump is guilty of no crime. But to the 'Rats, that doesn't matter. Nor does truth, honesty, justice, and fairness. None of those things even remotely describes the typical 'Rat today. One thing does, and that is getting votes, or taking votes away from their opponent. So keep in mind that the main goal here is to drive down Trump's approval numbers, just like they did with GWB after he was reelected. Its the only thing left on the table for the 'Rats. The majority of the sheeple still have the mainstream media as their primary information source. So they 'Rats will throw all this stuff out there and their sycophants in the media will dutifully spoon-feed it to the sheeple. Its just setting the table for the 2020 election, which may very well be the nastiest and most brutal of any election in our lifetimes, maybe in the history of the Republic.
