I’m not able to watch, but from this thread and what I am seeing in the news I am very confused. People are acting like the smoking gun was dropped today and Trump is fully believed guilty. Yet some are saying it is a nothing burger but still speculating on a impeachment trial in the senate. I had hoped this would go the way of the russia investigation, but it seems to still have legs. And the wild card in all this is bolton. If it goes to the senate, bolton will testify and I believe he means to damage Trump.

"People"? What people? The ones who have a vested interest in seeing Trump fall -- aka, the news media. Those "people"? Believe me when I say this. They are nobody. Their power is waning and they know it. The media universe is getting wider and more diverse. They don't have the power to drive a story to the fruition they desire like they used to--and it's killing them.

The Dems got the soundbite they wanted from Sondland. They were always going to impeach but this just wraps a bow around that box.

If Bolton was going to damage POTUS he’d be front and center right now. That Schifty declined to subpoena him shows the Democrats are not confident he will help there case.
