House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Donald Trump can make his case directly to the Intelligence Committee, but she vowed to protect the whistle-blower whose complaint triggered the impeachment inquiry of the president’s actions with Ukraine.
“The president could come right before the committee and talk, speak all the truth that he wants if he wants — if he wants to take the oath of office or he could do it in writing,” Pelosi said in a interview with CBS’s “Face the Nation” broadcast on Sunday. “He has every opportunity to present his case.”
Testify before a kangaroo court? Why in the world would President Trump want to legitimize sham hearings?
In front of people biased against him and who have made up their minds about his guilt?
For those reasons and more, look for President Trump to decline Pelosi’s invitation.
The Democrats want to impeach him? Let them bring it on!!!
So he cannot have legal representation present to defend his rights, but has an opportunity to perjure himself. Personally, I think he should deputized a bunch of Texas Rangers and storm the house and arrest them for treason and using the presidents oath to defend the constitution from domestic enemies as reason for the special force since all other departments are co-opted and corrupt. His ratings would hit 90% with pictures of Shiff and Pelosi in cuffs
No Presidential acknowledgement of this kangaroo court's legitimacy should be created by falling into Nancy's slimy trap.
A Republican Senate committee should haul in Pelosi, Schiff and the whistleblower for public hearings on the origins of this anti-American fiasco. .
Trump should have the chance for his attorneys to cross-examine impeachment witnesses. Testifying would simply be a perjury trap, even if he is completely truthful. The Democrats and the media will accuse him of perjury regardless what he says.
Let’s see what Horowitz and Durham bring. This could all fizzle out if they deliver on what we all believe they will discover. If the media will actually report on it.
As it stands, they just repeat Dem talking points, and refer to GOP allegations as “unverified/unproven” without doing any investigations of their own... as if they think is perfectly normal and proper for the son of VP to collection millions from US Aid recipients (billions in the case of the Chinese), get board seats, set up lobbying and investment firms in DC (instead of New York where real investment firms are located) and interfere in the internal investigations of foreign countries etc. There is new evidence that Ambassador Yovanovitch demanded Ukraine drop certain investigations, and an event hosted by alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella in the Obama White House with key corruption players/witnesses on Obama’s last day in office.
The evidence is all over the place and worthy of complete investigation - which POTUS Trump asked be done - and they go apoplectic. They hate Trump more than they love honest government.

Realize and I’m sure you do. That there are three branches of government. Executive, legislative, and judicial. Co-equal. What every one forgets is SCOTUS is not the final arbiter, we are that entity, we the people the deplorables, We have pussed out on our duties too long. It’s time to take the subversion of our Constitution in hand. We can fight them, stop them and starve them. Deplorables raise the crops, man the factories, and haul the food. If Trump testifies, they will cut him off and ask leading questions like, “At what point did you decide to violate the Cnostitution? Hmmmm??”
