SHREVEPORT La. -- Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and City Councilman Grayson Boucher say they confirmed that Shreveport Mayor Adrian Perkins pulled city police resources out of assisting with security for President Trump's rally for GOP gubernatorial candidate Eddie Rispone.
And they say it left the U.S. Secret Service in a lurch.
Boucher said after an SPD officer informed him on Wednesday morning, he sought confirmation outside the SPD.
"I was told by several members of law enforcement that this was true. That at about four o'clock yesterday afternoon, the mayor contacted the Secret Service and said we would no longer be participating," Boucher said.

He looks like a player of the skin tube flute.
It is 2019...you never know. Nonetheless, the nitwit is a seditious a-hole.
Anything happens to the President in that town...
Trump is not going to the mayors town.
Here’s an easy fi. Send out a blast tweet inviting any and all local NRA members to come on down and give a hand to the Secret Service. Bring your own guns and ammo. Deputize them as assistant federal marshals.
Gaydar going off big time.
I’ll bet that there’s at least one Federal charge that can be brought against this filthy punk.
There likely is no federal law that requires a city to provide police protection for a president that is in an entirely different city.
Adrian Perkins - Mayor
I'll bet it wouldn't have taken the LANG very long to get there.
There ya go! Perfect solution :)
“So the Mayor is a jerk, and a liar..”
A democrat...that covers all bases.
The state police are covering this.

And Bossier City is the home of Barksdale Air Force Base. I’m sure Barksdale can provide lots of security for their Commander in Chief.
Tell that to Adrian Barbeau.
Hey mayor, strange things happen down yonder...sleep well y’all.
Bossier City has it’s own police department, so perhaps Shreveport didn’t think it was their responsibility to provide security... in most states when a situation arises that a small police department can’t handle, that State Police provide backup..... are we barking up the wrong tree?
It’s not about POTUS safety. Watch for Antifa to show up in force.
Clean, articulate but on the down low.
