A second U.S. Embassy staffer in Kyiv overheard a cellphone call between President Donald Trump and his ambassador to the European Union discussing a need for Ukrainian officials to pursue “investigations,” The Associated Press has learned.

So the interim ambassador can’t be trusted and his staff can’t be trusted so no wonder POTUS depended on Giuliani, an old and trusted friend, because it seem everyone in the State Department does nothing but run their mouths. What a bunch of amateurs, it’s embarrassing

That’s funny. When I was a kid, my parents were on a party line out in the country. I used to listen to neighbor ladies gab all the time. We eventually got a “private line”.

Further the story absolutely trashes Sondland for his breach of security protocol on a multitude of occasions.
I lived in a rural county in Michigan in the 1980’s which still had a few party lines going.
I presume this Sondland guy won’t be questioned.
So the day after guy testified in public on TV that he heard one side of a conversation and thought it said something, another guy says “hey, i heard all that too”. Unless he said so before he heard it live on TV it’s meaningless gibberish from someone who wants to bolster shaky testimony by corroborating it with a fake “me too” story.

If I remember, it was difficult to call someone on the same party line. I think you had to dial the number and then hang up and wait for your phone to ring. We’ve come along way. Now, very few even have a landline. I still do for some reason.
