The party's moderate wing has suddenly produced back to back threats of Michael Bloomberg and Deval Patrick entering the presidential primary, revealing its determination to have an imposing presence in a race shaped by unrestrained liberal policy prescriptions and candidates.

Deval is an empty suit. Whatever they want him to be. It’s sort of the Obama phenomenon, but people have already seen Deval in action (or in inaction) and they aren’t impressed.

What makes those two “moderate?” Just wondering. Bloomberg is very bright but radical, far leftist as hell. At least on some vital subjects. I agree that the D’s need a moderate candidate - at least one recognizably more sane than their current bunch - if they want any chance in 2020

Like I said at the beginning of the clown show a while ago, NONE of the Current Candidates will be the Nominee, I still got my money on Hillary coming in.
The Wall Street tycoons are desperately searching for a candidate that won’t tax them into oblivion. Deval will not be able to challenge President Trump in “deplorable country” because we don’t know him. If we are forced to learn who he is and what he is about, he will fair about as good as Booker has.
As for as Bloomberg is concerned we already know all we need to know about him. He tried to dictate what size big gulps New Yorkers could buy and that went over like a turd in the punch bowl. Our fear is what he may come up with next.
He has also spent millions of his own money trying to repeal the Second Admendment. That ain’t gonna endear him to any sane person in the heartland.
We already kicked Hillary’s fat ass so the Dems need to go back to their drawing board again.
