Department of Justice inspector general Michael Horowitz is expected to make multiple criminal referrals as part of his report based on his probe of how the FBI dug into President Donald Trump's 2016 campaign, according to journalist Sara Carter. One of those criminal referrals is expected to be former FBI director James Comey, according to two sources, the report claims. House Freedom Caucus Chairman Andy Biggs told Sean Hannity of Fox News that several other top government figures — such as former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe and former U.S. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein — may also be found "culpable." Horowitz's report is expected to be made public before the end of November. His investigation is also expected to reveal that the FBI knew before securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to spy on former Trump campaign advisor Carter Page that ex-British spy Christopher Steele's controversial dossier on Trump could not be verified, according to Carter. The report may also throw a wrench into House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff's impeachment inquiry of Trump. According to Carter's news report, Horowitz's findings will make it clear that Schiff's backing of the FBI's FISA warrant on Page was entirely based on the California Democrat's bias against Trump and not on any objective considerations. Many Republican officials say that Schiff's single-mindedness on impeachment proceedings against the president demonstrates this continued bias, Carter reported. Attorney General William Barr has directed federal prosecutor John Durham to investigate the FBI in how it handled its investigation of Trump's 2016 campaign.

Wasn’t Comey named as someone referred for prosecution — and then Barr didn’t? I think that was the last report that came out about six months ago.
Waiting for the document to be released. Then wait for Barr to make the decision to prosecute. And I am not holding my breathe.
One Christmas many, many years ago I was rooting around my mom’s basement for things I could use in my apartment in the city. I saw a pair of crutches and an idea was borne. My goofball family went on to make the funniest parody home video of a Christmas Carol, starring Bob Crotchitch, Uncle Stooge and best of all Giant Jim (we had extended Jim’s crutch as far as they could go). The best line was my ditzy sister saying “Bob, we’re having goose for turkey!”
My point is Jim Comey is hilariously tall and won’t be able to blend in with the curtains when he’s perped walked to and from the courthouse.
There is no proof any of this will occur. It is all hearsay and conjecture. Based on past performance. All the bad guys will skip.
Because Barr assigned US Attorney John H. Durham to run a criminal investigation?

I for one will be very happy to see Rosenstein indicted, but am not holding my breath..I believe he signed at least one of the fisa warrants..

They are delaying the report in the hopes that Trump will be removed and they can cover this all up.
I lost track too, but if someone like Rosenstein or Baker started singing (which seems to have happened), it's going to be really, really bad for them.
It seems safe to be "cautiously optimistic" that things will be different with a real prosecutor and real criminal charges that carry real jail time.
I pray this doesn’t fizzle like most investigations Republicans are involved with. Democrats go for the throat.

Barr better think long and hard about releasing something seen as a band-aid on the sabre slash that’s fifteen inches long.
If there’s not a broad-spread referral, Barr will wind up being just one more in a long line of cover-up artists.

Are you sure about that? My understanding is that they have already had a grand jury. I don't thing we are looking at referrals at this point just indictments.
A referral that will never be prosecuted, and if it is it will be prosecuted in DC, for a partisan Democrat jury to acquit.
