The two-term Republican who was ousted in 2018 by Katie Hill announced on his website Sunday that he will attempt to win back his old seat.

“I am proud to return to public service and deliver the type of representation our district deserves,” Steve Knight posted on his website.

Hill defeated Knight by 9 points in California’s 25th District in November. Hill-- a centrist-- was seen as a rising Democratic star because the district is seen as one of a few in the state that could be carried by a Republican.

Yeah, it sounds like she liked being in 'the center'. *snicker* Not passing judgement, or anything.......

"...Rep. Katie Hill resigns because of a 'misogynistic culture'..."

Of course she did. "The Patriarchy", not her own personal sexual lust drove her to sexually abuse her staff and use drugs at her office. Because she's cool, a hipster, trendy.

To have a chance, Mr. Knight needs to get his own “ballot harvesting” operation up and running.

This is California’s corruption-inviting process in which paid political operatives are allowed to seek out their party’s registered mail-in voters and get them to fill out their ballots on their front door step, and then hand it over to the operatives.

Several CA GOP candidates thought they had won on election eve 2018, until the Democrat operatives’ sacks of “harvested” absentee ballots were counted

Didn’t she win in a very shady way, in a heavy R district, using ballot harvesting?

In challenging races, the Dem’s are all Centrists, then their true colors come out once they know it’s safe and/or the district has completely turned. For now, I think Sinema may be an anomaly, but she’s only been there a little bit so time will tell.

I’ll bet you dollars to doughnuts that a Republican ballot harvesting would come under intense scrutiny. Even if there were no improprieties, violations would be manufactured and Republican harvesters would end up in jail.

Apparently, a lot of people have viewed Katie Hill’s “seat”, on the interweb.

Pete Knight’s (astronaut) son. Reliably Conservative, I think. Ballot harvesting did him in.
