These are the same tactics that the Rats used in the Kavanaugh persecution. This will all fall apart but not until they get the most out of the daily drumbeat and drip drip drip of impeachment to keep Trump’s poll numbers down. Then something else will be cooked up. It’s probably already to go now. The only thing that can squash this circus is for Barr and Durham to start indicting some people. The Senate could go on offense as well. But.....

This is reminding me of Lost, when Ben Linus was followed without question because he was supposedly the one person who could speak to Jacob, the island's true master. Locke called him out on it and demanded to see Jacob himself. So Ben led Locke to see an old cabin where Jacob lived.
All that was inside was an empty chair that Ben started talking to and screaming at, insisting that "Jacob" was sitting there and that Locke didn't believe enough to see him.

Disagree. McConnell should dismiss the case immediately when it hits the senate. He cannot dignify the lunatic left by even starting a trial. McConnell should have written his speech by one. It should be polished and ready to go.

This is exactly what happened with Mueller. Carter and Popadopoulos were used to launch the Mueller process be. Papadopoulos got drunk with some Australian diplomats who used his drunken talk to help the FBI create a plausible story of Trump colluding with Russia. The Dossier and planted news stories frosted the cake.so we have this jerk setting off a chain of events with plants and folks sympathetic to Schiff creating a fake impeachment.
Schiff is only going to allow the witnesses he ok’s and ask only the questions he deems appropriate.
