Will be great entertainment if he gets into the race. Billionaire, pro-Israel, Wall Street-connected Bloomberg vs. Warren, Sanders, - plus The Squad commenting from the side-lines. What a circus that would be.

And who doesn't enjoy a ratfight?

Bloomberg has an organization. "Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) was formed in April 2006 during a summit co-hosted by mayors Michael Bloomberg of New York City and Thomas Menino of Boston at New York's mayoral residence, Gracie Mansion. ... In April 2014, MAIG merged with Moms Demand Action to form Everytown for Gun Safety."A few phone calls and he'll be up and running in every state.

I don't think the Democrat core -- after what the Democrat core has morphed into in 2019 -- would ever allow nomination of a Billionaire to run against another Billionaire -- but this could be great fun to watch!

His security is retired NYPD and FBI. He aint Vince Foster and if the Arkansas Mafia thinks he is they will regret it. I really don’t like Bloomie, but I respect his smarts and his knowing how to use his money. He singlehandedly did an end run around the NYC Charter to get his third term and had the Dem Progs begging him to do so. He fought and beat the UFT, continued Giuliani’s broken windows, and neutralized almost every major interest group in the city. I will tell you the one guy not underestimating Bloomie is Pres. Trump.

So, is Bloomberg responsible for all the fake news his outfit has produced? Has his paper been part of the coup to take down President Trump?

Bloomberg won in 01 following in Rudy’s footsteps, All 3 times he ran against very weak opponents. In todays New York he wouldn’t stand a chance. Hes a boring mealy mouthed fascist.

It’s a mistake to sell Bloomberg short (pun intended).

He is a quantum improvement over Biden, Warren and Sanders, because that bar is so low. If he runs he will be formidable. In the primaries he will run almost as if he were an independent, going rogue interestingly in ways similar to Trump during the 2016 primaries. He will put great distance between his positions and impeachment, Russiagate, etc. If he enters the race I give him a 70% chance of being the Democratic nominee, largely because by default he is the only credible choice.

Moving to the general election, the ultra-far left (25% of Dems) would be Never Bloombergers in the same way as Never Trumpers were in 2016. Half might vote for him because they hate Trump so much, but many will stay home. Bloomberg will appeal to independents and RINOs, of which there are many he can peel away from Trump.

Trump will change demeanor and tactics if Bloomberg is the Dem nominee. He’ll run an entirely different campaign, and so it is impossible to predict the outcome. But it makes no sense to bet against this President. I would give Bloomberg a 40% chance to win but no better.

Unless some big sh*t hits the fan next summer or fall, I don’t give Biden, Warren or Sanders even a one in three chance of winning the general election. They are impressively weak.

[Bloomberg won in 01 following in Rudy’s footsteps, All 3 times he ran against very weak opponents.]

The way NYC politics works is you start in the trenches and work your way up. Every one of NYC’s Democratic mayors has been a “weak opponent”, except for the fact that he was backed by the entire Democratic machinery, including the many public unions, once he won the primary. In other words, for a Republican, there is no such thing as a weak Democratic opponent in the race for NYC mayor. Even a weak nobody candidate like DeBlasio won with 72.2% of the vote in his first outing. That’s how powerful the Democratic machine is.

If I had to think of a single word to describe Bloomberg - not his demeanor, but his accomplishments - that word would be “formidable”. I hope he stays out, because his money advantage is staggering. I’m not sure Trump could compete with a $5b campaign. RINOs would be tripping all over themselves to secure large donations to their favorite self-administered PACs from Bloomberg in exchange for their endorsements. No clear (or prosecutable) quid pro quo, but the subtext would be pretty obvious.

Yeah, throw the hat in the ring, Mayor Big Gulp. There’s a real groundswell of support for you in the great, unwashed hinterland.

Has anyone else noticed that this gun-grabbing POS wants to register in Alabama - one of the most gun-friendly states in the Union? It’s a pre-emptive thumb in the eye to Heartland America, and don’t you forget it. He’s deliberately flipping the New York State Bird to flyover country.

In 2016, Michael Bloomturd funded a ballot initiative here in Maine which if passed, would have outlawed the private sale of firearms here in Maine.

The so-called “Moms Demand Action” b*tches fanned across Maine collecting signatures, and the gun-grabbing Michael Bloomturd funded ballot initiative qualified for the November 2016 ballot.

A “Yes on 3” was a vote for Bloomturd and the gun grabbers, a “No on 3” was a vote to continued the private sale of firearms in Maine.

Bloomturd and his fellow moonbat travelers greatly overspent the patriots who wanted to keep Maine’s tradition of the private sale of firearms. Maine is strong Second Amendment country, with both open carry and Constitutional carry.

The useless police chiefs in Maine did commercials on TV, in uniform, supporting Bloomturd’s initiative.

The elected county sheriffs (also in uniform) in Maine ran TV ads opposing the end to the private sale of firearms in Maine.

Election night November 2016....Donald Trump elected; he carried Maine’s Second Congressional District...80% of the state....by 10 points, and was awarded one electoral vote.

Bloomturd’s gun-grabbing initiative went down to defeat. It was a great night!
