I was once active in the Libertarian Party. I gave it up.
The Libertarian Party would be far more effective if it were a club similar to the National Rife Association.

Libertarian’s have become self righteous traitors l am sad to say. I have lost count of how many important races they have handed to the rats. Some may be principaled but many are just paid off weapons for the left either way they have damaged the country.
I’m not so sure about that. Of all the people I know who describe themselves as “libertarians,” I’d say fewer than 20% of them are remotely conservative by any objective measure.
Libertarian Party to me is an intellectual fraud.
As long as they are pro abortion they are flat out liars and intellectually dishonest.
Liberty’s very definition is to be free from oppression. That means, your rights can never be used to oppress another... To claim your “liberty” allows you to oppress another human being and deny them their inalienable right to life... is a complete blasphemy to the very concept of liberty.
Until the libertarian party is willing to be intellectually honest on that issue, it remains nothing more than a bunch of folks stuck in selfish teenage world view mode.
Maybe Bevin should just refuse to concede and go around saying he is the real winner - it seems to be working for Stacy Abrams in Georgia. She just refuses to go away, like Hilary.
Libertines did not cost Bevin the win, Bevins cost Bevins the win. Every single GOP state wide office got 100,000 more votes then Bevin. A large number of GOP voters went and voted straight GOP except for Bevin.
That what you get when you insiste on running a bad candidate GOPE instead of cutting your dead wood.
Of the professing Libertarians I have met since college they fall into two categories:
1. Libertines not libertarian - Wanted no constraints on their lives whatsoever. So actually anarchists but they wouldn’t call themselves that.
2. Single issue Libertarians - Pot the issue!, i.e. only concerned about pot - Want to smoke pot whenever & wherever they feel like it.
With 2 being the largest category.

Consider myself a conservative liberatarian (small L) due to overreach of government issues on both sides and the epidemic corruption within the R party. I vote 100% Republican though because I’m not an idiot. If there was a decent L candidate and it wasn’t going to jeopardize something I value, I would vote L.
Those are the ones I see. Doesn't Bill Maher claim to be a libertarian?
