The worst piece of advice ever to Trump: Jonah Goldberg of National Review Says he should apologize
American Thinker ^ | 11/01/2019 | Jack Hellner

Jonah Goldberg, writing at National Review, says that President Trump is guilty and should apologize.

In l’affaire Ukraine, the president is guilty as charged. And the best strategy for him to avoid impeachment by the House and perhaps even removal by the Senate is to admit it, apologize, and let voters make their own judgment. It’s also the best way to fend off a disaster for Senate Republicans.

This is one pathetic piece of advice which could have been written by any of many NeverTrumpers like Boot, Noonan, Rubin, Brooks and Romney, who like to pretend they still are conservatives.

President Clinton signed an agreement with Ukraine in 1999 to cooperate to root out corruption, but according to Goldberg, most journalists, other Democrats and several Republicans, the only corruption Trump could ever ask about would be corruption by people other than Americans (does that make sense?).  Otherwise, Trump is guilty and could be impeached.

We know from Politico and other sources that the Democrats worked with Ukraine to defeat Trump in 2016, but if Trump or Barr wants to investigate that absolute corruption they should be removed from office and apologize for even bringing it up.

We know that Obama/Biden withheld military aid from Ukraine and Trump gave them the aid but somehow Trump is the problem.

After watching most of the media and other Democrats the last three years, I have some advice for all current and future politicians. If you want to enrich yourselves and your families while you are in office, make sure you take your kickbacks on foreign soil from foreign sources because that would be off limits on all investigations.

Jonah is so full of crap his eyes are brown. He’s a turdbrain who only got a little traction as a faux conservative because of his mother’s true bonafides. Apology, for something Trump isn’t guilty of, would be insane. It would only, finally, give Jonah, and his butt buddy Gabby Hayes something they’ve craved for 3 years; something to gloat about. So far, they’ve had bupkiss.

Even if the president is “guilty” as charged, in my opinion, he had the right to say/ask what he did. The Dems would strip him of his executive powers.

Social acceptance is one of the stronger motives. People abandon their natural talents, rationality, and fidelity in favor of acceptance.

looks like a dirtbag whenever they let him on TV.

When Mr. Trump was winning the early debates, Goldberg got agitated in much this same fashion, spouting off about the candidate's short-comings.

Someone from the press read the comments to Trump, who replied, "Who cares what he thinks, the guy can't even afford a decent pair of pants!"

Ten minutes later Goldberg was on a Fox panel and he looked like a woman trying to cover a run in her nylons.

The stupid piece of garbage doesn't know winning from last night's pizza crust.

Senator Bob Packwood tried apologizing, the Dems, instead, saw BLOOD, and quickly drove him out of office.

I think Glenn Beck is still a never Trumper. He has learned to disguise that tendency for his business’ sake. But it seeps out.

No apologies needed.

ANY U.S. president in 2018, greeting the head of the newly elected government of Ukraine was, in my view, OBLIGATED in accord with U.S. interests, to inquire with that government if some of the reported tie ins between Ukraine officials in 2016 and the American DNC and the Clinton campaign, working in concert to try and throw dirt at Clinton’s opponent, was going to be looked into by the new government in Ukraine, for none of it should have taken place and all of it amounted to foreign collusion and interference in an American election for president.

The secondary matter, regarding Hunter Biden and the board of a Ukrianian company also provided legitimate questions for the U.S. government, due to the appearance that the government of Ukraine bent its authority, at the request of Joe Biden, to remove a Ukraine government prosecutor, who happened to be part of an investigation of the company on whose board sat Hunter Biden. If that were found to be true, it was a clear abuse of power by the former Vice President of the United States, and if he were in office possibly an impeachable offense. Of course that too was legitimate concern to the U.S. government, regardless of whether or not Mr Biden was a current candidate for any office.

Mr. Trump, I hereby apply for the job as your press spokesperson.

Reading from Goldberg is almost as nauseating as reading an article from David Frum. Almost.

Pelosi should apologize, say ‘oops’, downgrade this chimpeachment into a censure vote, and quietly retire.
