Very Good Dog, Injured in al-Baghdadi Raid, Back on Duty
PJ Media ^ | 28 Oct 2019 | Jim Treacher

Posted on 10/28/2019 6:20:50 PM PDT by Rummyfan

Initial reports overstated the severity of the dog’s wounds, and she’s already back on duty. And although her name isn’t being released, her face is now famous…Seriously, though, I just have a few questions for this war hero:

Who’s a good girl?
Are you a good girl?
Wanna go outside?
Who is a good, good girl?

Sorry, cat-lovers, but you’ll never feel this sort of pride. Cats are useless on the battlefield. A cat would’ve just stared at al-Baghdadi as he ran away. A cat might’ve even helped him! Cats are cute, but you just can’t trust ’em when it counts.

I have the care of three British Mastiffs ( not the ones on the video.). As guard dogs, NO ONE messes with them. Not even the authorities without phoning ahead.

Mohammed detested dogs for a reason. They foiled many Islamic rapine raids. And they are still doing the righteous work of Divine Providence.

The military uses a wide variety of breeds in their working dog program.

The Belgian Malinois has phenomenal athleticism.

At least this soldier earned their Purple Heart, unlike some liberal politicians.

I can kick a cat across the room (if necessary ). Also ankle biter dogs can be launched. This is more often necessary than cats as cats skulk away while ankle biters often decide to make you a target for some feeble brain, tiny dog , Napoleon complex reason.

I have dogs and a cat. I have not had to launch either. But while doing house painting with a professional painter I’ve had to launch 1 or 2.

I must smile.

For I had a Belgian Malinois. Paid $100 for her as a puppy.

Dear Lord, dear Lord but she was a handful. We had her for 13 years and....dear Lord but she was a handful.

God bless. A wonderful, wonderful breed.

Did I mention that they are a handful?

The problem with a housecat on the battlefield would be, first, that it’d get underfoot and trip you up just when the chase got critical...

Then there are those hairballs you “find” in the hallway to the bathroom at 4 a.m.

(Yes, we have a cat & love her a lot. Usually. “Aacckk! Dammit, Princess!!”)

Cats brought up around chickens usually will not touch them, and are in fact usually afraid of them. Our cat kills rodents of several types, including squirrels, and once in a while songbirds when she can catch them, unfortunately, but won’t even go near chicks. (I think she just assumes the hen or rooster is watching!)

What we do need though, is a medium energy dog (can be brought up the same way) to protect our free range chickens, from ‘coons, ‘possums, and other dogs. We used to have an older stray dog that hung around here a lot - a Shepherd / “something” mix, very friendly toward people, and the chickens, but “looked” fierce and no other dogs would challenge him on our (now his?) property. He was an older dog, tho’ and developed severe arthritis and eventually had to be put down.

Yup. I have a big fluffy white cat named Furrah Fawcett. She largely suns herself all day and then poses in front of the fan so her hair blows around. She’s no warrior that one.

LOL ....... beautiful.

But, you didn't have to go on and put the big hit on CATS. ;-)

After all, my cats have always been considerate enough to let me know when they dropped a dead mouse at the foot of the bed.

Boy, aren't they a bunch of suck-ups! My cats don't tell me anything. They just sit there, snickering to each other, waiting for me to discover it by myself, on my way to the bathroom in the dark ...

Is it true Democrats have issues a subpoena to the dog to see if Baghdadi actually whimpered?

LOL!

One night about 40 years ago my wife and I came home around 3:00 a.m. after hours of getting wasted, we entered and our two cats were sitting on the top of the couch ... backs to us with their ears back in quiet derision. Wow, that was a cold feline "welcome".

;-)

Great dog, but in this instance I wish we had a few highly-trained pigs.
