White liberals tend to present themselves as less competent when speaking to minorities — while conservatives do not, according to a new study from Yale University scheduled to be published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
“Most Whites, particularly socio-political liberals, now endorse racial equality. Archival and experimental research reveals a subtle but reliable ironic consequence: White liberals self-present less competence to minorities than to other Whites — that is, they patronize minorities stereotyped as lower status and less competent,” says the study, written by Yale professor Cydney Dupree.
Dupree analyzed the speech patterns of liberal and conservative presidential campaign speeches to pinpoint how often they used words that signified “warmth” and “competence.”
Words that emphasized warmth were things like “supportive” or “compassionate,” while words that emphasized competence were things like “assertive” or “competitive.” Dupree found that Democratic candidates used fewer “competence” words when speaking to primarily minority audiences, and they have been doing so for many years.
“It was really surprising to see that for nearly three decades, Democratic presidential candidates have been engaging in this predicted behavior,” she said in a news release.
There was not a similar pattern with Republicans...

Libs and progressives do it all the time. That’s because, inside, they really believe they’re smarter than everyone else and that they’re a superior social caste to everyone else as well.
“The soft bigotry of low expectations.” Some famous guy said that. Libs/progressives are guilty, guilty, guilty of living by that observation in everything they do when it comes to minorities.

Hilarious (that’s what we all called her back when I was stationed in the Beltway in the mid-90s) is a piece of work. During the 2016 campaign, didn’t she do an interview at a black radio station and, during the piece, pull some hot sauce packets out of her purse to prove that, why, she was just like all the other black women, in that they all supposedly carried around some hot source in their purses? ;-)

That’s ‘cuz ‘Racist’ and ‘White Supremacist’ conservatives have the same expectations of blacks and other minorities that they have of themselves.
Things have to get done, and we don’t care about ‘feelz.’
We were looked down upon as the ugly stepchild of our battery. Soldiers that were thought of as discipline problems were dumped in my platoon, too. My platoon sergeant and I gave them a fresh start, and most took advantage of it.
Long story short, everyone was surprised when we had the only platoon of 4 to pass a battery level tactical evaluation...except me. My men busted their butts in training, and acquitted themselves well, just as I expected they would. That condescension motivated all of us to prove them wrong.

Could not agree more. I have decent amount of respect for blacks in the sense that they’re doing what they think is needed to prosper and have freedom, while white liberals are simply very sick, self-hating, people.
I’m thinking that a lot of black men see that same characteristic in white liberal politicians, which is why they have respect for Trump.

In other words, hey black people, the libs think you’re really dumb and need to be talked down to. So far all you’ve done as a voting bloc is to affirm that belief by supporting the people who patronize you (as if you’re children) with your near unanimous consent.
White libs think black people are sub-human, and while they say otherwise they cannot maintain the pretense.
The Dims have always seen “blacks” and minorities as inhabitants of their intellectual plantation and work to keep them resttrained there, instead of them realizing their true freedom is when they get off that plantation.
