White liberals tend to present themselves as less competent when speaking to minorities — while conservatives do not, according to a new study from Yale University scheduled to be published in the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology.
“Most Whites, particularly socio-political liberals, now endorse racial equality. Archival and experimental research reveals a subtle but reliable ironic consequence: White liberals self-present less competence to minorities than to other Whites — that is, they patronize minorities stereotyped as lower status and less competent,” says the study, written by Yale professor Cydney Dupree.
Dupree analyzed the speech patterns of liberal and conservative presidential campaign speeches to pinpoint how often they used words that signified “warmth” and “competence.”
Words that emphasized warmth were things like “supportive” or “compassionate,” while words that emphasized competence were things like “assertive” or “competitive.” Dupree found that Democratic candidates used fewer “competence” words when speaking to primarily minority audiences, and they have been doing so for many years.
“It was really surprising to see that for nearly three decades, Democratic presidential candidates have been engaging in this predicted behavior,” she said in a news release.
There was not a similar pattern with Republicans...

Talking down to people tends to piss them off, no matter what their color. You talk too people not over them. I think Trump gets this. People feel good when they work and are productive. All people feel good about themselves, to hell with handouts give me a job. Unemployment at all time lows means something. IMO

White liberals mock minorities and the minorities eat it up. Strange. You'd think they would be pissed.

They have many convinced that they “fight for them” but in reality they are treated like dirt by them. Furthermore, improving their lot in life is of no concern to the democrats as they want them kept down...they need them kept down.
This truth is captured beautifully in the movie “Get Out”.

Leftists, particularly white leftists, feel they are smarter, better, more compassionate, than anyone else. Therefore everyone else is either and enemy, or a “child” of sorts who needs their so-called help.
Yes. Liberals don't pat blacks on the head out of respect.
The minorities are not “falling for” anything.
They laugh at liberals behind their back.
If someone wants to give them free stuff they are thinking:
“What total idiots—but yeah I will take their free stuff.”
My first thought was that Ms. Dupree was going to be quickly looking for a new job and all her grant $$ would suddenly dry up; her and her family would face death threats from liberals
Then I checked her pic, and find that she could be vilified as a “Aunt Tom”, she might get some bad publicity and Yale could “discipline” her, but because she’s the right color (and gender- dare I say that) she’ll receive nothing that a white male would who published the same type of findings or research.
White libs ought to mindful of things like The Golden Rule and judging others by the content of their character. Hence my tagline.

A white male could never get anything like this published at Yale or any other ivy league college in the country.
I won’t use the word stupid but I will use the word ignorant.
I’ve known some smart guys who couldn’t tell you whether Mexico was a US state or not. Seriously.
But these are guys that are not stupid. They (some kids i helped out in brooklyn) could get me from point A to point B when I couldn’t remember one turn we made.
But they wouldn’t know we left brooklyn even after we went over a BRIDGE.
IGNORANCE is destroying the black/spanish community.
They need to wake up.
There is a large subset of blacks who still prefer getting handed a paycheck to actually earning one . . . especially of the female variety.
