Fox News’ Chris Wallace just shocked viewers by going on an anti-Trump rant.
This past week, House Republicans stormed a closed-door impeachment hearing with complaints about a lack of transparency. It was these same Republicans that Wallace went after during an appearance he made on “America’s Newsroom” on Friday.
There, host Sandra Smith had Wallace listen to a video clip in which White House adviser Kellyanne Conway asked, “Where’s the process?”
“My feeling is that if you are having trouble with the facts, you argue process,” responded Wallace, who seems all too ready to take the Democrats’ side. “That’s what Republicans are doing right now.”
The implication, of course, is that the facts are against President Donald Trump, that they seem to indicate that Trump is guilty of a quid pro quo between himself and Ukranian president Volodymyr Zelensky. This being the case, Wallace argues, all Republicans can do is try to get the inquiry thrown out by arguing that the process is unfair.
Before viewers get the idea that Wallace has a personal ax to grind, he cited the supposedly damning evidence that the Democrats have against Trump.
“The Democrats have gotten some very damaging information from people like William Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine; Fiona Hill, who used to be one of the top advisers of the National Security Council on Ukraine,” he said, “evidence that seems to tie more of a quid pro quo, that there is some evidence from these people working in the Trump administration that the president linked aid to Ukraine, a White House meeting with Ukrainian president, to getting research on the Democrats.”
Wallace then likened the impeachment inquiry to the Benghazi hearings.
“In the Benghazi investigation, there were private hearings and then there were public hearings,” he said. “That’s what’s going to happen here.”
“I just think that in the end after we have these little must-see TV hearings with these key witnesses in public in November,” Wallace continued, “I’m not sure people are going to care a lot about what the process was in October.”
No, Sissy Wallace is neither confused nor clueless. He is deliberately misleading his viewers.
You can't determine the facts without the right process.

Isn’t quid pro quo just another way of saying deal or understanding? Don’t quid pro quid deals occur every day in Congress in the form of vote trading?

The process works on facts by separating them from political bias and personal opinion. Avoiding the process is what you do while trying to baffle the masses with BS...BECAUSE THE FACTS ARE NOT IN YOUR FAVOR....

I have been thinking this screaming about the process is a trap. The Rats plan all along was to set this up to say okay due to opposition demands we will make these public. Then they plan to showcase Taylor and other conspirators on national television accusing Trump and giving the Mitt and the Rino’s cover to remove him. Jordon and the other should have been raising hell that the Rats are using a Schiff coached Soros stooge as their star witness.

I think that it’s both. He is deceiving his viewers, but he believe this crap as well.
IF YOU WATCH FOX, even the conservative shows, you are giving advertisers reason to keep giving money to a station that has TOO MANY folks like this.

Chris Wallace is the far-left side of “Fair and Balanced” on Fox News. He’s there to show us how clueless the Left is.
Wallace is not only unwatchable his voice is like nails on a chalkboard!!! His voice is right up there with Jessica Turlof AWFUL!!!!
Chris Wallace is an excellent reason to never watch anything on the Fox News channel
