“Libya was then used as a staging area to arm jihadists in Syria.”
Wrong. I don’t care what Blogger or Russia Today article you source. Look at the map and tell me why the US, Qatar, etc. would ship arms from Libya to Syria (separate groups) when there are US and allied bases right next to Syria in Jordan and Iraq. They are the same bases which trained the non-Islamist Free Syrian Army. But supposedly their arms came from Libya? No, ISIS was funded by Qatar originally then self-funded after the atrocities of 2014.
You’re threading a needle to implicate the US in supporting Islamist terror groups which the US has never supported. That is not Baghdadi in the photo. That’s RT propaganda of US supports Islamist extremists. You’ve been duped.
Again, that photo does not have Baghdadi in it, it is of the Libyan jihadists that McCain, Graham and Rubio helped illegally overthrow the Libyan government.
This is from 24MAR2019 from Kurdistan24:
IRBIL, Kurdistan 24 - A leader of the People’s Protection Units (YPG) said on Sunday that ISIL leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi had fled to the northern provinces of Idlib.
The region is controlled by opposition factions backed by Ankara.

According to Ferhat Abdi Sahin, better known by his noms de guerre Mazloum Abdi and Mazloum Kobane or Mazlum Kobani, previously Sahin Cilo, a Syrian Kurdish military leader, serving as the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Coordination and joint action in pursuing and targeting the leaders of the terrorist organization Daesh continue at a high rate and similar operations will occur soon.

We’ve never supported Libyan Jihadists. Secularists yes, but not Islamists. Never. Now, you want to slander and disparage the US? Fine. Go read this Wikipedia article and you tell me which group McCain is meeting with in the photo you posted. And source it. There’s dozens of Libyan factions. But of course you know enough to identify the rebels shown with US politicians as Islamists so you can post a mis-information meme blaming the US.

Frickin RT dupe.
“Coordination and joint action in pursuing and targeting the leaders of the terrorist organization Daesh continue at a high rate and similar operations will occur soon.”
Sounds good to me. But he shouldn’t advertise it on Twitter.
A good summary:
The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) spent five months working with the U.S. government to gather intelligence on Baghdadis whereabouts, according to Kurdish and U.S. officials. Gen. Mazloum Abdi, SDF commander, was the only foreigner to know about the target, he told Foreign Policy through a translator. His account was confirmed independently by the senior U.S. official.
The operation was delayed for a full month by Turkeys military activity at the border and the subsequent incursion into northeastern Syria, Mazloum said. Ankara moved into Syria days after Trump withdrew U.S. forces from the border in early October, move was widely seen as essentially green-lighting the Turkish operation.
Mazloum built a sophisticated network of informers in Northwest Syria, a lot of his intelligence helped even stopping terrorist attacks in the west, said Ahed Alhendi, a Syrian analyst close to the Syrian Democratic Council (SDC), the SDFs political arm.

We had no business illegally overthrowing the Libyan government, same as we had no business attempting to overthrow the Syrian government.
According to a new report from Fox News correspondents Adam Housley and Malia Zimmerman, guards hired through a contractor by the State Department to protect the U.S. consulate in Benghazi were unvetted, local militia members who belonged to terrorist groups Al Qaeda and Ansar al-Sharia.
Yeah, sure we never had anything to do with jihadists.
Thanks AdmSmith.
