Yeah. None of them who threatened to leave have ever left. It’s just a smartass thing to say.
We do have an agreement with them, but it is my understanding that it is a long drawn out process to extradite anyone from there...New Zealand has to do their own investigation and determine guilt. And I have also been told if it is considered political in nature they will not extradite.
If you look at countries that will NOT extradite to U.S. no one would want to live in those countries. So that leaves countries where it is not an easy process if you are choosing to flee to some other country.
