The revelation that DOJ has gained possession of two of Mifsud’s phones is a shot across the bow that the IG and Durham reports are looming. Impeachment will be seen as part of an ongoing coup. Nancy is keeping her powder dry for the reasons you mention, but she is also taking the long view on what cards Trump has to play.

It's a farce. If Trump wanted to, he could have every communication by every coup member from 2015 to this moment delivered tonight and sitting on the Resolute desk in the morning.
You are overstating NSA’s capabilities to monitor worldwide communications a decade or more ago. Having the identity of two of the phones provided to Mifsud by us are indispensable to unlocking the cabal’s web of contacts. Don’t forget that Brennan, Clapper, and Comey were orchestrating all of this thru the IC and Deep State. Durham and Barr are trying to penetrate the spy network and overcome ongoing resistance to revealing who did what.
Anyone who thinks that this attempted coup was being carried out by just a handful of bad actors at the top is delusional. At a very minimum, hundreds of people were involved with many of them still in place. They are obstructing the release of any evidence of their wrongdoing. Durham and Barr need to flip some people. The phone data from Mifsud could prove invaluable in that regard.

You have Mifsud confirmed to be western intelligence. Mifsud is supposedly the person that started the investigation when he gave popadop the email story.
Then they can mine the data on the phone which should be interesting.
Next they need to debunk the russia stealing the email nonsense that crowd strike has given us.
This is probably the reason the IG and Durham investigations have expanded and been delayed.
Both phone SIM cards are for the UK. Not sure who the carrier is though.
