If Trump truly appealed to this guy the first time around, I’d think he still would.
China is now importing around $20 billion in agricultural products from the U. S. each year, and promises to raise that by 150%.
I know some of Trump’s moves have hit farmers, but I do think his ultimate goal was to help them. I think this proves his reasoning was sound.
He tried to seek relief for the farmers in the interim, and I believe he got it.
China is a massive market. We could eventually see an even higher number in Chinese imports of agricultural goods.
Were these farmers expected to see Democrats fight for them? LOL
