Howdy, LUV.
I hope it didn’t get too hot there today. It wasn’t much warmer here than it was yesterday.
This month’s full moon is called the Hunter’s Moon. Harvest Moon was last month. Sure is pretty and bright out there tonight. I wish I’d thought to go out earlier and get a pic as it topped the trees.
Good evening, radu...any rain in sight? A good day for relaxing after museum day?
All the nights are now staying below freezing, but still getting into the low 40s eventually during the day. Maybe a little snow next weekend.
Crud! You’re Right! I meant to write Hunter Moon, but looked at the first song, and my brain froze. LOL!
It got up to 85, but it felt good since it was sort of cloudy most of the day. Good napping day. :) And I WAS sleepy after getting up so early this morning.
Hope things get a bit warmer for you, but not uncomfortably so. The cool weather has be very welcome here for the kitties except when it’s windy. They hate it.
Good evening/morning, ML...((HUGS))...hope you are feeling better today. Did you and Penny just hang out and enjoy the day?
Hey there, Kathy.
A little relaxing, a little housework, a little relaxing .... LOL Now trying to find events of some sort for the congressional candidate I’m working for to go to. Not much going on at this time for him. Mostly Halloween and Christmas stuff.
We MIGHT get a little rain Tues. but we aren’t holding our breath. We’ve been let down too many times lately.
Whew, BRRRRR! It’s getting right nippy in your neck o’ the woods, isn’t it?
I only knew it because they mentioned it on the news earlier this evening. LOL! I was going to try to get a nice pic but got sidetracked and didn’t get out there at the right time.
85 is a nice temp. Warm enough for short sleeves but not hot. I wouldn’t have minded it being 85 here but we were about 20 degrees cooler, with a breeze. A bit cool for my taste. They still say 70s for us this week and that will do nicely.
Our kitties don’t like wind either. It seems to freak them out to be touched by something they can’t see.
Exactly! They keep running and then turning quickly to see what was ruffling their fur. LOL!
Yep, that’s what they do. And they belly-crawl trying to get out from under the “invisible hand”.
Thanks, ETR, for the Victory Parade. The people really came out to welcome our military back home.
Midnight does that a lot when something scares him. Like he’s trying to make himself invisible. It’s nice and still out there tonight, though.
How's everyone this morning?
We have several belly-crawlers here when they get spooked. Thunder will do it and so will someone knocking on the door. Most of the cats scatter when someone knocks.
The wind died down here tonight as it did last night. That was good since it did dip into the 30s last night. Might do it again tonight. Critters don’t have anything close to winter coats yet so wind would really make them cold.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Did Gizmo pull any more shenanigans yesterday? No more hiding of his food dish, I hope. :-)
Our ISP had a server breakdown which caused some of their customers to lose service. Our house wasn't affected though.
And then our 28.0 GB computer was near capacity and i had to uninstall some things to get it back down. Low disk space warning. We've had this computer for two years now.
EGADS! A snake?? Don’t blame you a bit for skedaddling outta there!
You were certainly lucky not to be affected by the internet disruption. It’s aggravating to lose service.
It sounds lie you were busy for a bit trying to decide what to uninstall so you’d have some free space again. Don’t envy ya a bit!
Good morning, Canteen.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you for all you do.
Hat tip to Nancy Wake
Love the way she put this:
"The mini-series was well-acted but in parts it was extremely stupid.
At one stage they had me cooking eggs and bacon to feed the men.
For goodness sake did the Allies parachute me into France to fry eggs and bacon for the men?
There wasnt an egg to be had for love nor money, and even if there had been
why would I be frying it when I had men to do that sort of thing?"
Thank you, Ma for preparing
the Canteen for today's activities.
Good morning Everyone.
Up early, so I thought I'd drop by
and see what everyone was up to.
We've finally had a bit of rain; mostly, passing showers.
The next best chance will be Wednesday.
Chilly nights; warm days in my neck of the wood.
Sweater weather.
Going to do some shopping today.
Have several stops to make.
Need to get to Walmart early; hoping to avoid the holiday crazies, but
some places don't open until 10:00.
Gonna run.
But please stay right where you are.
Chat up the military or a family member.
No need to fret...you know I'll be back!
Come in and sit for a while.
There's always plenty of coffee, tea,
pancakes, conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS

I still have a horrible headcold, but it was such a beautiful day that I rode Blue all the way to Marion (Buzzards Bay) had some food and rode all the way back (had to refill my tank!) all using rambling country roads. Such a treat! MA is in full Autumn Color now.
Good Morning, Beachie! :-)
