With President Trump actively distorting the truth and many of his own colleagues helping him do it, the Fox News star prided himself on anchoring a newscast that countered the network's pro-Trump opinion shows. The way Smith saw it, he was making sure that accurate information was getting on Fox's air. "I wonder," he told a Time magazine reporter last year, "if I stopped delivering the facts, what would go in its place in this place that is most watched, most listened, most viewed, most trusted? And, the Fox opinion shows that were ones backing up their claims with fact and great reporting from real journalists like Sara Carter and John Solomon.
Hannity the other prime time hosts were the ones that got it right on the Russian collusion nonsense while the "hard news" shows on CNN abd MSNBC got it wrong.
I believe Trump. I don’t believe CNN. The latter has given me adequate reason to disbelieve them.
And, he'll be treated like a queen for doing so.

Shep’s ship has finally arrived in port. Able to wear any color of eye shadow, an ideal image for the giant eye make up industry. Applies mascara without smuding, lipstick with no coloring outside the lines. His rouge is more than likely his shortcoming. Pinching his cheeks would do the job nicely, however colleagues end up pinching the lower cheeks rather than those on his face.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they bring him on at one of those networks as a “Fox News analyst.”
You are right, he is the worst. Like you said it can be something that has nothing to do with politics. His reports sound like the worst tabloid came to life.
He is not any part news reporter. The first time I saw him I thought he had to be related to someone important to even get on the air.

Smith was a local tv reporter ABC i think in FL... one of his co- reporters at the same station— who is still at Fox— is Trace Gallagher.
Smith was always a poofter, female acting drama queen reporter.
Hume seemed to be impressed with Smith— for some damn reason— “best in the biz” etc. But that was after Britt’s son suicided (a true tragedy devastated Brit Hume).

i read the carl cameron piece too...Trump is literally destroying these people...its almost unbelievable. They met their match and they cant accept it. They are so used to doing the destroying. Im enjoying every bit of this...

Don’t watch TV so don’t know—good street reporter— well composed reports, and factual... no innuendo. Back then— 20 years or so.
Watch for his beat reports— inserted into news cycle, to see.
