Was Never Trumper Cavuto hyperventilating again? Word has been out for two days now that the negotiations are progressing and that there is a possible break of the impasse. The markets have been up for two days now on this possibility.

So, the increase to the existing tariffs have been postponed.

Relax Grasshoppa. Trump has got this. Not enough of the supply chain has moved yet. He is dancing. In the mean time existing tariffs stay and the Chinese are grateful we are destroying their economy slowly.

As far as Ag, the Chinese are in a world of hurt. Pig ebola and the army worm has them behind the 8 ball. Trump doesn’t want to see mass starvation, just huge food price increases.

He hasn’t given up a damn thing and they are grateful he is engineering their loss of the supply chain.

A delay is not “caving”.

These things take a while.

Are you not very bright? What’s your problem? Did you ride the short bus to school? Did you go to school? Jeez, why do you label this as US Caves? Why do claim that not raising tariffs from 25% to 30% is terrible news?

“Big agriculture is ruining the USA....
Soybeans??? WTH”

So I guess the announcement that the US is going to sell the largest amount of Soybeans 40 to 50 billion dollars worth is bad news too.
Now I get it, the Chinese have rarely kept their word in the past, but that was because previous American presidents let them get away with it. President Trump won’t. If they refuse to purchase the agriculture and other products they’ve agreed too, President Trump will slap that extra 5% on the tariffs and likely raise it another 5% just to be dick to the Chinese and let them know who’s boss.
