Whoa, Shep’s pulling out?
Choices: a) Marx and Freud were equally quick witted, or, b) it's funny either way!
Turn of events? who wrote this, it makes no sense.
My guess is Shemp is getting ready to bash Fox and he can’t do it while still working there. Kiss and Tell book for starters. Then an election season slot. I could see NBC signing him for MSNBC and maybe some weekend NBC Nightly News anchoring.
He has a standard non-compete - I'd say minimum of one year.
Goodbi Shep. Now take Nappy, Jay Wallace and his corrupt polls with you.
Nappy deeply saddened.
Daily Mail says he wont be on air for some time.
Find someone to blow over at CNN?
If ever. He certainly has a non-compete, these people that try to come back after a break usually fail, like Megan and Couric and even NorDUH O'Donnell took a brief hiatus is collapsing in the ratings.
Shep, says, "Damn Trump Curse!"
Thanks to BookmanTheJanitor for this heart warming pic!

Good point. But he’s going to another network to bash POTUS during election season. I would think the Democrats running Fox would accommodate him somewhat. One year from today is a month from election day 2020. He could write and book and start with another network next fall.
YES!
Donna Brazile??
Can I WOO HOO?
Wow lots of good news today! Shep belongs where his heart lies: co-anchoring a show with Rachel Maddow.
Recently I asked the company to allow me to leave FOX News and begin a new chapter. After requesting that I stay, they graciously obliged. The opportunities afforded this guy from small town Mississippi have been many, Smith said in a statement. Its been an honor and a privilege to report the news each day to our loyal audience in context and with perspective, without fear or favor. Ive worked with the most talented, dedicated and focused professionals I know and Im proud to have anchored their work each dayI will deeply miss them.
Shep is one of the premier newscasters of his generation and his extraordinary body of work is among the finest journalism in the industry. His integrity and outstanding reporting from the field helped put FOX News on the map and there is simply no better breaking news anchor who has the ability to transport a viewer to a place of conflict, tragedy, despair or elation through his masterful delivery, said Jay Wallace, President & Executive Editor of Fox News Media, in a statement.
We are proud of the signature reporting and anchoring style he honed at FOX News, along with everything he accomplished here during his monumental 23-year tenure. While this day is especially difficult as his former producer, we respect his decision and are deeply grateful for his immense contributions to the entire network.

Id like to see Dan Bongino take that slot!
Adios!
If so, I was actually there for that - at one of the Bush "chad" protests. At that time, we were all stupid enough to believe he (and Fox at large) was on our side.
Heck, back then I was rallying for the BUSHES - both of them.
