I'm told almost 80,000 tickets were dispersed. The Target Center, home of the Timberwolves holds around 22,000 people.

4:10PM Update...
For the first time, a police helicopter is hovering over the intersection of Hennepin Avenue and 5th Street. That’s about 3 blocks north of Target Center.
From my office windows, I can hear a few police cars and a few people yelling down at Nicollet Mall. Can’t quite tell if a procession of protestors are making their way towards Target Center or not.
